Shopee is a large online retailer in Thailand and a competitor to Lazada Thailand ...coincidentally I was just looking on Lazada for a phone and on the home screen was a link to Lazmall though on mobile I think it showed as Lazada mall.....I see they are also selling in Phillipines so believe they are targeting most ASEAN countries

When there are only two bidders in an auction and they both bid up a domain to such a huge number you know they both were trying to keep everyone else out of the auction, and I'll bet bidder 1 will fail to pay leaving bidder 2 to only pay $17

I could be wrong but I doubt it.

This is plausible but there would have been no need to bid upto that amount if both bidders are working together. That name probably wouldn't have gone above 1K.

Well the whois would not change yet anyway, plus Public Domain Registry might still allow renewal.

No it looks like it was renewed on 6/22 same owner listed in whois, that's been the owner for years.

I have emailed @Michael so the name can be removed from Namebio.
