.mobi SXSW.mobi --Another .com going .mobi

Check out "south by southwest"'s .mobi site. Here is another good example of a good .com using .mobi. Here is what they say on their http://2007.sxsw.com/ site:

I was going to post it to your sticky thread to start with. But when I saw their quote " No need to try to navigate sxsw.com...." on their .com site and mp3, video clip, podcast ( probably first .mobi using it) , I thought of starting new thread.

The coolest thing about this is that SXSW is such a cool venue for off-the-beaten-track music, and generally that equates to youthful users. If sites like this catch on with users in their teens and 20s, and .mobi is then considered hip and cool itself, the battle is half over -- once it's adopted by that demographic, it will easily become a standard, as that's where the heaviest cellphone use, and particularly mobile Web browsing, will be happening. :tu:

SXSW is one of the most popular music festivals in the world. The festival lasts a few days every year & has hundreds of bands play at a ton of different venues all day for the length of the festival.

Many acts have blown up after being exposed at the SXSW festival. Check out the site or Google it & you will learn a lot about it.
