If you do decide to go ahead and develop I would suggest the following:
- Contact relevant food companies directly and ask whether they have any nutritional data they can send you on their products, this should not be pasted into the site but used to formulate tables and other information about the products (also you may get a lot of free samples so that you can comment on the products). The great thing with this approach is that you then have a doorway into the company with the aim of utilizing it to contact them regarding advertising on the site.
- Make sure you include a blog where you can comment on all different kinds of diet and foods that you read about on social media (again a great way to get noticed by a large audience including those in the food industry - another avenuse to perhaps garner some interest in advertising on your site).
- Have a joke section, one whereby people can spend a few minutes and have a laugh at horrendous tasting foods, stories about foods, etc.
- Have a forum for people to comment directly on their own diets and dieting, people like to feel tey are communicating with others and typing into a site is an easy way for them to feel they have acheived this (look, I am doing it now

)
- Of course you have to have social networking, it might take some time but when one person interested in the subject finds your site by things like Twitter, FB, etc. it is likely that they will post comments to their 'friends' who will also then visit the site.
- Comment on as many newspaper and media site articles about food and dieting as possible that you read something about the subject on your website (sneaky I know but then you will get people visiting your site who have also read your comment)
The one thing is that this will possibly take up months of your life just to set up and then with luck you will start getting traction, but it is a massive undertaking especially if you have no real interest in the subject - then it is just work. Of course the upside is that if you succeed the rewards could be huge. The alternative is to see if there is someone who is wwilling to buy the domain name from you so that you can make a good profit without all the work involved.
Whatever you decide good luck to you, it is a good domain name.
