I've managed to figure out that CPM is what your site is earning (on average) per thousand impressions.

I've managed to figure out that CTR is the Click Through Rate (in percentages) of users on a given PPC program.

But what in the World is RPM?

Here's an example...

My www.gopc.com site's adsense numbers today...

adsense for content - CTR 2.9% - CPM $31.74
adsense for Search - 41.7% - CPM $47.39
What is my RPM and how do I figure it?

My GoldKey account stats for 11 sites (including www.gopc.com) today...

CTR 65% - EPC .18 - RPM 122.50 (ETC is Earning per click?)

So what is PRM, why does GoldKey measure it and Adsense doesn't?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Scott

Dear Scott,

RPM is often confused with CPM. RPM stands for 'Revenue per Thousand' and CPM stands for 'Cost per Thousand' ('M' being the Roman numeral for 1,000). CPM is how much an advertiser pays per thousand impressions (originally from the magazine industry and usually used for banner advertising on the Internet). RPM, one of the most vital statistics when it comes to domain parking, shows how much you receive for every thousand people looking at your site, thus giving a much more valuable figure than PPC and CTR on their own.
