Sticky threads are too cheap

There is too many of them. In particular the fixed price marketplace and the domain name discussion sections of the forum. They are a similar price to when Namepros was half the size. They are overdue for a price increase as at this price they clutter up some sections of the forum too much.

It may be a good idea to have tiered pricing for sticky threads. (Higher prices for more popular sections of the forum.)

I think the number of active stickies in any given section should be capped...

I just skip the stickied threads in http://www.namepros.com/domains-for-sale-fixed-price/ now, since I just assume I've read them all already. I believe the thread highlight is a more effective upgrade in the sales forums.

Agree 100% Phil -- this is something I recently suggested in the moderator forum. I also think thread highlight prices should be increased.

I agree, in http://www.namepros.com/domains-for-sale-fixed-price/, there are too many stickied threads. Or maybe the number of stickied threads in a section should be limited for example 6 threads max.
