Squadhelp is introducing a white label solution that looks pretty cool at first glance. Setting up the Marketplace takes less than 10 minutes, and it comes pre-configured with powerful features such as Instant Search technology, AI based Domain Recommendations and modern, beautiful landing pages that are optimized for conversion. The entire Marketplace is custom branded: […]

@GrantP Why aren't any details about the buyer displayed, when an offer is made for a white-label marketplace domain? Not even the buyer's name or country!

This could be a huge downside, especially for sellers who like to do their research before responding.

The only options currently available are accept/reject/counter or delete offer.

I responded to your message in the other thread, posting it here as well for reference.

Here is how we handle offers:

1. All offers are initially screened by our team to rule out any bot based inquiries or invalid emails
2. Offers are then forwarded on to sellers (you will receive an alert, notification and the offer should be visible in the offer center).
3. Sellers have the ability to counter/ reject or accept the offer.
4. Our Marketplace team continues to stay involved and sends out follow ups to buyers and sellers to move the negotiation process forward.
5. In the next few days, we plan to add lot more information about the buyer in the offer center (both for WLM and Premium Marketplace). We can not share the personal details (e.g. name, email) about the buyers but we plan to provide additional information that can be very helpful in negotiations.

They don't seem to give you any buyer details..saying it's part of their policy. But they are offering you your own marketplace...so why not even some basic details? Dan and Uniregistry does it. Not sure if they are afraid you will do the sale outside the platform or what...

And After you counter, i don't see a way to communicate with the buyer again. And i had to follow up many days after to get a reply from SH on the buyer status???

Also please make the offer, counter, accept options clearer...they are like text right together..make it more distinct. I don't know what i'm clicking until i highlight the right text.

That's not good. How does SH expect marketplace owners to grow their business if they can't expand their customer base?

That's unfortunate.

We have a major update coming up related to offer center in the next few days (likely next week). This will provide significantly greater level of insights about buyers (not just their country but also several other details that can greatly help with negotiation).

Please continue to share your ongoing feedback. We may not have all the features yet but we are rapidly adding several new features every week, mainly based upon feedback from our sellers.
Sounds good.

FYI - we have made a significant update and added a new Offer Center. You can now message back and forth with the buyer as well as see additional details about the buyer:

* Their name/ email/ phone number (if they give permission to share). We now ask their permission to share this information at the time of making an offer for a WLM domain.
* Their geographical information (Country/ State/ City etc)
* Their visit information (e.g. when was the first time they visited, when was the last time they visited etc)

We are also planning additional updates to further improve the management and workflows for offers.
Looks like a step in the right direction, even though given the option most of the buyers would likely prefer to stay anonymous for a host of reasons.
That said, squadhelp's role in the negotiation process for WLM domains, still seems unclear.
Do they essentially act as a broker (or) do they interact with the inquirers simultaneously along with the seller,(or) do they only pitch-in once a lead has gone cold?

Squadhelp, please allow us to choose the landing page we want. I also like the professional theme, but i kind off dislike the landing page that comes with it. I think you should asap work to allow a landing page similar to that of the modern theme.

Things seem scattered in the professional themes landing page and the logo is barely seen. It looks like a landing page from 1995. IMO

Pleaseeeeee...asap.

@GrantP I had previously selected do not show this option for a makeoffer button in addition to a bin but below there was an option of not recieving offers on %, Which I cant disable so I selected 70%. Today a buyer came with an offer for 600$ for a 899$ bin domain, I wanted to accept the offer as the diff was little but there is No option to accept the offer. I contacted support and they told me accepting the offer option will be added in few days.

@GrantP thank you for your reply. I appreciate the benefit of building credibility with potential buyers. It's really important. I'm just a bit overwhelmed with the number of mentions of Squadhelp on a marketplace called white-label. Also, I'm concerned that those mentions could be very distracting in some cases.

Besides the clickable link in the footer, there are at least two other clickable links. One is in the BB chat window. It's the one with the video that says "How Does Squadhelp Work? Learn about how Squadhelp works". Once a potential buyer clicks on it they are shown comprehensive advertising of SH services that are directly competing with my WLM marketplace.

Another one is at a very sensitive place. Once a potential buyer clicks "Buy Now" button, on the following payment page there's a big CLICKABLE logo of SH at the very top of the page. Super noticeable. Now, if I was a buyer and if I was about to spend a significant amount of money I would be very tempted to click and find out more about the company that is going to handle my transaction. But when I click on it I see nothing about escrow services. Instead, I'm prompted to launch a naming contest or view names for sale at Squadhelp. And that is once again advertising of SH services that are directly competing with my WLM marketplace.

Those clickable links are very risky. I would really appreciate if they at least were affiliate links. Before WLM was announced, we could embed our portfolios in our websites. Then each single domain name had an embedded affiliate link. In the WLM I haven't seen a single affiliate link yet although it's obvious that potential buyers can very easily migrate from WLM to Squadhelp with a single click.

@GrantP thank you for taking into consideration our feedback and implementing Revenue Generating Landing Pages (more details: https://squadhelp.com/t/introducing-revenue-generating-landing-pages/9277) :)
