Spaceship.com recently launched a new Marketplace section, and as NamePros has given me the go-head, I think the company deserves its own thread for NP domain marketplace users to converse in.

https://www.spaceship.com/sellerhub/

Personally speaking, I will be setting up a new Spaceship.com account this weekend and going to work investigating its various features, options and policies.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
.US domains.US domains
The only problem with this is it makes it impossible to globally set a down payment amount for ALL domains that have LTO. Having a percentage would allow this -- otherwise we have to set a dollar amount for one domain at a time. Not very efficient.
Understand this, we will get this added as well, just as the next stage.

@Marina Savina Can we please get sortable columns for seller hub? It's implemented in stats, so I can't imagine it's too difficult to apply it to the domains.

Also exportability from seller hub..it's already implemented elsewhere so I can't imagine it's tough to add and I'm sure countless users would be thrilled.

Thanks
Yep, this is in the plans and will be added later on.

I feel like this is important to note..if you are using Gmail, offers/purchases on Spaceship show up under the Promotions tab even though everything else shows up in the Primary..

As someone who never opens that tab on desktop I would have never known had I not logged in

The title says "For Sale Page." Instead, you could use the domain name.
Surprised this wasn't fixed. I made the suggestion to support.

Hi @Marina , did your team already think to introduce a domains portfolio link page in the customer's Seller hub page as @Sedo already does?

It would be helpfulf for any seller to promote its portfolio in many way, from social networks to emails, newsletter and so on.
Thank you in advance

Quality of life improvement suggestion: I noticed that the DEFAULT view is only "50" domain listings. Please let us select a higher default. Sometimes you think you are editing all your names but only 50 are actually selected. Having to remember to keep changing this can lead to mistakes (you think you are editing names but really only editing 50 of them).

Besides the '50 listings', every time I scroll, I can only see 3 names at a time. Can you change it to display more names at once?

Yes, it's terrible on mobile.

Yes, we have it in our backlog.

Thanks, added to the list of the improvements.

amazing looking site, landers and setup. I won't use it because I won't spend endless hours dealing with adding txt entries across many registrars and some domains are pointed to sites. TXT verification is probably the number one reason why Sedo is not the largest in this space today and how no name Dan grew so fast (besides the fact they had a clean setup that nobody had). Good luck! I am happy to see sales reported from there.

Hi @marina, I've got a couple of suggestions to improve the friendly usability of the customers' accounts:

First of all, I would suggest giving any Spaceship member the chance to list their domains alphabetically, both in the Seller hub and the Domain Manager section; this will help a lot to manage the portfolio, especially with a large number of domains, especially when it comes to importing some of the new domains in the Seller hub or double checking if any Domain in the domain Manager hub we would to sel is present or not in the Seler Hub.

Then again, IMHO, the Import Domain feature in the Seller Hub, when it comes to the Spaceship domain registered, must be changed, giving the customers the choice to import JUST the Spaceship domain NOT already in the seller Hub:

Right now, if I register 10 new domains with Spaceship and I want to import them into the Seller hub, your system shows me ALL MY domain list, and this is quite a bit confusing 'cause in that list there are the Domains ALREADY in my Seller hub, the new ones [Spaceship registered] and that ones I choose not to sell.
Thank you in advance for your consideration :)

@Marina Savina -

I'd like to try using Spaceship's landing pages but I really dislike saying Make Offer -- especially when we have to show the buyer a minimum dollar amount (I feel it automatically lowers the perceived value). Is there any way to give us the option to say "Start a Conversation" instead, in the very near future? Or is that not gonna happen anytime soon?

Thanks.

Iโ€™m not a fan of MO either, but to be clear, the minimum amount is not explicitly shown on the lander, and Spaceship and Namecheap registration paths reveal it only if you try to make offer (GoDaddy shows Afternicโ€™s minimum offer right off the bat).

Yep. Regardless, I'd MUCH prefer an option to say "Start a Conversation" rather than Make an Offer. Saying Make an Offer automatically gives the perception that you're totally open to a lower amount than what is listed. Saying "Start a Conversation" allows a dialogue to open which MIGHT lead to an offer but also allows the buyer to ask a question.

Yep. Or Contact Owner / Contact Seller would be fine as well. I probably prefer them just because they're shorter, but no big deal either way.

Personally I think 'Start a Conversation' sounds more friendly and inviting, but anything sounds better than Make an Offer ๐Ÿ˜€

You can always transfer your domains to Spaceship and end this quandaryโ€”two birds with one stone! :xf.wink:
