Want to share some interesting (IMO) info about Enduser’s interest to .tv domain.
During last month I’ve got 6 Endusers interested in my .tv domains (not only GR domains).
I was contacting them first. They were interested in my names, but my prices were too high for them.
But I’m happy, cause I’m sure that will sell this names lately, maybe for even higher prices.
The most important is that THEY ARE INTERESTED!!!
5 of these Endusers were Europeans and 1 from the country of Dingos and Kangaroos :)
All my mails to guys from USA got no replies.

My conclusion - .tv is rising.

Just the info :)

Thanks, Nick

Interesting - actually the guy who contacted me recently about a .TV of mine was from England. Checking out his business website I can see he has been developing quite a few brandable .TV domains (which all but newbie domainers would avoid). I guess for some reason he decided to go for a generic and was thinking he could get it for a lot less than I was asking. But I'm only asking for about what the comparable .Net sold for in a recent Namejet auction and I'm sure the winner isn't going to be selling it for anywhere near the price they paid for it...

But, considering you were expecting high prices, did you contact them with a standard email, via phone?
Really interested to know.

I reached them only by e-mails.
The prices were not as high as xx,xxx but I think they were high in the current situation and with that endusers.

Ok, thanks.
I'm really interested to understand how to approach an enduser for a mid XX,XXX or XXX,XXX sale, because I think that an email isn't the best option.

You are welcome :)
Oh, yes this is the question. Didn't ever try to make that kind of sale and don't know how to reach this big guys.
I think in that case the phone contact with a person who can make a decision is better than e-mail.

BTW sometimes I think that the fax contact would be good for high (and even lower sales), because there is now spam filters on fax :) and faxes are usually registrated, so the fax has more chances to see the eyes of the decision maker than e-mail

Inconclusive ... please let us know when confirmed sales are made with bonafide End users who will then be developing acquired .TV's! :gl: :imho:

Best wishes,

Confirmed sales have their own topic.

This topic is just about my experience during last month in reaching endusers.
In my opinion these are good signs for .tv – so I wanted to share with my friends :imho::gl:

Thanks, Nick

We're all friends; continued success with reaching End users and thanks for your input Nick! :music:
My opinion is that it's not (yet) conclusive, IMHO.

All the best,
