.tv One year in .tv's

Well I'm celebrating 1 year in dot tv's today

One year ago I've picked at tdnam my first .tv - 24online.tv. I've forgot to change autorenew at Godaddy and paid today $39 to renew it lol.

Just wanted to share my results, they are not big, but in my opinion they may be interesting for people who is thinking about investing in dot tv's:

I've made totally 12 sales (endusers + Sedo) and I've sold 2 or 4 names with not big but nice profit at the forum.
Total profit is 7600 - 7800 USD.
All of these names were standard renewal domains.

Rather it were passive sales. I've made only one real (many e-mails) enduser's campaign for one German name (with a result).

Also I've build a very small portfolio with some nice names (only one premium).

For me - there is no any question - investment in dot tv is a good choice

Congrats! Just curious if you set fixed prices at SEDO or if your sales were negotiated. One never knows how many sales opportunities are lost because prices were set too high...

I never set fixed prices at Sedo and generally I don't put prices, just "make offer"

And high xxxx is great.

and when .tv recovers (hopefully) as the economy recovers (hopefully) you will be sitting pretty!!

I am certainly renewing the few names I have left in .tv.

Congrats on the 1 year anniversary! BTW, with Godaddy, if you have a name that you didn't want to auto-renew, you can email them & say it shouldn't have been on auto-renew & you wish to delete for a refund. I did that with one of my names before.

TwoMoon, I think you are doing excellent. I remember seeing your sales topics writing that you sold tv's and I was thinking that you very capable in domaining, at least 4 times better than me.
I m sure .tv's or not you will be successful because you have the talent.

It's really nice to hear such words from the community.

You all doing here great work, promoting the extension. I was inspired by all off this positive information about .tv, so decided to try it

Talking about details, in 100% I can confirm that 4 domains were purchased by Endusers:
1-st name. I contacted the enduser by e-mail
2 name. The enduser contacted me via sedo (i'm talking about pizzeria)
3 name. I contacted the enduser by e-mail (it was German domain I was talking in my first post)
4 name. The enduser contacted me by phone (my last sale)

On other domains - buyers contacted me via Sedo (I think it were mostly domainers).

Congrats to you on your first year. Done the right way, small nimble portfolio, staying away from premiums. I am sure selling .tv is not your full time job so that is a nice extra bonus. Best of luck.
