Hello everyone,

I've seen different types of landing pages and decided to try creating a couple of my own. I would like to get your constructive feedback.

I'm too new to add links to my posts but the urls are below.

CashPacific.com
CasasNewYork.com

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your time.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

Checked out both of them (note same layout on each as of this posting)
http://CasasNewYork.com
http://CashPacific.com

Positive content great, easy to understand
only criticism is the color/colors not sure if it is the "black" or the "light blue" but appears bland!
Personally, I would brighten up the black (maybe yellow)..
but all things considered, nice job

Not just a cookie cutter landing page. Good job IMHO. Will it result in more sales? Probably not. But at least it looks different from all the others.

Although the landing pages work on a mobile phone, the font is too large.

I prefer the uniregistry type of landing page. It is simple and specific. Check out one of my listings.

Thanks to everyone who responded.

@Justin Matmor, I agree the Uniregistry landing page is simple, neat, and clean.

Anyone care to share examples of what they think are good landing pages?

My favourite landing page is BrandBucket's pages.

Check out how nice they look when you type in a domain.

I too think the font is too large. You are wasting screen space, ideally I shouldn't have to scroll the page to reach the web form. Consider adding a Buy now button (Paypal/Escrow).
The colors are bit dull to my taste, other than that it's okay.

PS: my screen has 1920*1080 resolution. You try a webshot service like snapito to test your site under different screen sizes.

I don't like your contact form situated at the bottom
should be "above the fold"

for browser check

It's great that you are taking the initiative to have your own landing pages, however you will learn over time that they make little to no difference in converting domain sales.

i think if you one day own many domaisn you may runn into obvious issues with this lander and redirecting there for each domain.

i use above.com company to point all my dns to it.

then from there I redirect to various parkign companies as I please.
usuaully I am on bodis direct sale lander (no park page at all).
example: www.04.rs

bodis also lets u setup buynow lander with escrow.
I set up examle of it for you here: www.05.rs

so this is what I'd recommend to anyone. as bodis is easy to use fast, has great stats etc. Ive tried many parking companies, and bodis is the only one which lets u redirect to sale lander, witout going throuhj parked page sale banner first. if they didn't let u do it.. I'd be on my own sale lander too. or uniregistry or undeveloped or something...I just love the bodis ui. clean, fast, complete.

I used to not go to bodis through above.com before.. and just go to bodis dns direct from registrars.. but.. above gives you an extra set of stats.. so now i get bodis+above statrs.. plus if you direct yoru dns to aboev first, u have option to switch to any park company with 2 clicks.. withotu having to edit all dns at each registrar level.

also, remember that above.com is setup to let u easily redirect all your domains in 2 clicks to any lander url also! and they also have it with MASKIGN and with domain parameter passing (url/$D).. so for example u can redirect to an afternic for sale lander at afternich/domainme... using url/$d at above.. and even mask it if you want! all in 2 click of mouse!

above is just an amazing control center. powerful!

hope this gives u some ideas

happy domaining

Strange. I never even thought about using Above and Redirecting straight to Bodis Escrow Page. That will work great. I've been discussing this with my registrar. They are discussing it with their busy developers. Tnx.

Your solution is great for Buy Now domains. What I now need is how to handle Make Offer landing page. Doing this forwarding in the registrar is just overwhelming. Which is why I've been discussing it with them. Would you have any ideas for a solution, similar to your Above solution, where maybe I can send a visitor to a service which forwards the domain to another url, which includes adding the domain name to the end of that url. ie: forward all redirected visitors to recipientdomain.com/landingpage.php?domain=visiteddomain.com

hi there. yes! above+bodis combo is working real well for me in terms of laander combo! while I agree with mr franky from germany good domains sell regardless of lander.. but that changes nothing to fact you still need a lander.. and that's what this thread is all about.. so let's get this done and figure out whats the easiest most user frriendly lander to have for the op and rest of us.. lol

to answer you STub... if I understand correctly, u want to use above to redirect to make offer page. u can do this using the makeoffer page on bodis directly... like one of domains I showed.. one was for buynow.. the other for make offer.. but both goign through bodis.. so u just send all traffic from above to bodis.. then redirect to lander.. buynow or makeoffer. u pick.

and if u meant to use another makeoffer lander than bodis.. then just use above redirect to url option on above.com.. with or without masking as you want.. then enter your url there and u can use $D to pass domain name..

so somehting like:

afternic/salelander/$D

hope it helps

This is really great stuff. Lots to think about. I'll be making some changes for sure. The first one will be to move the contact page to the top of the landing page where it can clearly be seen.

Then I need to ponder if it's actually worth my time and energy to create a landing page for each domain I want to sell or go with a quicker, more stream-lined option.

I first started to take an interest in domaining this past April. Been reading, researching, and learning a lot. Gotta admit I've been getting the strong urge to register and buy lots of domains. I think I've been able to tame these urges for the most part thanks to the more experienced people here at NamePros who keep telling beginners to not buy yet and read/learn like crazy first.

Anyway, thanks again everyone for the feedback on my landing pages. I really appreciate it.

it did me 54354554 sales franky
how many time did it do you franky?

how many sales did you have using that great landing page?

if we discuss which landing page is better
then the most important factor is:

1) how many contacts did it make
2) how many of those where fake / robots
3) how many sales did you get?

my theory:
if sombody wants a domain
he doesn't care for your landing page
he simply wants to contact you most easily

your agressive response tells me you made no sales
