SEO + landing page?

Hey everyone

So I am testing out different landing pages, from Afternic to my own landing page, undeveloped.com and sedo.

Just curious but, how important is SEO in a domain selling landing page? I just don't see why you should bother with SEO, because why would google rank a domain selling landing page, above an actual productive website?

If your domain is brandable then you don't need to worry about SEO.

If you are selling keyword domains then seo is good. it will bring more traffic and endusers too.
