I know I am not the only one to realise just how many names are being bought/traded in .TV every day/week/month.
And yet so very few deals actually become public knowledge.
I have been after six names this week -
Two I bought for reg fee for five years in advance each.
One I discovered was sold for several thousand without public disclosure (and I now have absolutely no chance of owning it)
One I discovered was sold for a few hundred without any ceremony just a few days ago.
Two I bought direct from enom at 'premium prices' (several hundred each) - and both I have no interest in letting the world know about.
Of course, there are still many smaller purchases going on (indeed I bought the odd one or two names myself this week such as Polski on 'spec') but I see so much else happening - and without any fanfare.
Does this new state of affairs mean we are entering, or have already entered, a 'normal' extension place. A place where a sale of several thousand is NOT such big news anymore.
Or should we still strive to highlight every sale we hear about?
