Snapnames vs. Buydomains

So, there is a dot com domain name i have my eye on that is about to expire. it is registered at Domaindiscover.com. i have a pre-order auction set up at Snapnames. i see that Buydomains is set up to catch dropped names from Domaindiscover.

Will my order with snapnames preempt buydomains from getting a hold of the name or would it typically go straight to them?

i have read that Buydomains tends to drastically overprice names so i would like to get a hold of it before they do. is there anyway to do this?

However, BuyDomains (and many other resellers) also buys and bids on the major drop services, and might be bidding against you.

I thought domaindiscover was Buy Domains?

I think Domaindiscover & registrationtek are registrars owned by buydomains.
BTW the handle for Buydomains at Snapnames is saggydimes, it's a name I see often

Odds are even if it Goes to snap, your probably not the only one who sees value in the domain name. Good luck!
