The new weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com. The $9.5 million sale of Porn.com that we reported two weeks ago was completed this past week when the domain was transferred to the new owner's account at Moniker.com. That cleared the way for this name to take the top spot on both our weekly and Year-to-Date charts. SnapNames also shared the spotlight by snaring 12 of the 21 chart entries (there was an extra position due to a tie at #20 this week). Also noteworthy was the appearance of a Korean IDN (International Domain Name) in the #2 slot for the second week in a row.

.Net dominated the Global Contenders chart, piling up 14 of 20 chart positions and Great Britain's .co.uk sits atop the Country Code chart, however .de had the most entries by far on the ccTLD list, taking 9 in all. You can get all of the details through the link below:

Nice read as always , Duke

SnapNames should control the sales board, considering they get every dropped domain name that has any substancial value. Of course this reverts back to my argument concerning "domain tasting" and refunding them for the domains they don't want, I truly hope ICANN stops this crap, It's a freakin ripp off imo, It effects the consumer and makes them pay large amounts of money for names, they should atleast have a fair chance getting of drop for register fee, between verisign and Icann, i don't know which one is worst.
