sales Slower Week in the Domain Aftermarket - Chalk it Up to the Chinese New Year?

The new weekly domain sales Report is out at DNJournal.com. The arrival of the Chinese New Year has been accompanied by a slowdown in reported domain sales – apparently due to Chinese buyers taking a holiday break. Only one domain on our latest all extension Top 20 Sales Chart (a four-digit numeric) fits the profile of names that have been popular with hyperactive Chinese buyers in recent months. One thing did remain consistent – the dominance of .coms on the Big Board. They took 15 of 21 entries this week but the non .com gTLDs also had a good outing with six charted domains thanks primarily to .CLUB’s release of their January premium sales list that produced five of those chart entries. You can get all of the details here: http://www.dnjournal.com/archive/domainsales/2016/20160217.htm

yes, definitely a slow week last week BUT from what my chinese contacts tell me, this week could be a banner week with alot of volume trading going on. Good luck everyone!

one of my client's LLL.com had a $53K top offer the week before CNY...today got an offer of $57K. So maybe things are moving up slowly?
