The new weekly domain sales Report is out at DNJournal.com. Recently closed sales from a new gTLD auction in China produced some of the top entries on our latest all extension Top 20 Sale Chart including the six-figure chart leader. However that auction was held last month – before the Chinese New Year break – so we also wanted to see if Chinese buyers – who were back in their offices last week – would return to the leading role they have been playing in the aftermarket. I looks like they were a little hung over after the new year!

The only sales to hit the charts were sales that the registry made.
People have reg'd 100,000's of .xyz and nobody has a sale on the chart besides the registry! HMMM....

So .xyz has the 1st, 3rd, 5th and 7th place on the overall sales charts this week.
As I've been saying it is a great new ext. with more factual proof every single month to its long term viability.

Those are some of the best domains from the registry! I don't see .xyz continuing to have high rankings in the charts for any extended period of time. Once the registry has auctioned off all the domains they kept for themselves, you will see it drop in the charts.

So don't get your hopes up.

I just got a spam email today from a .xyz email address. Yes I get almost all from .com but it's been here the longest.

Type .xyz into your search bar and you will see .xyz spam and .xyz virus pop up!
