Slightly Disappointed in GoDaddy's Billing

I woke up this morning to find that Godaddy had billed my checking account for another month of the Investor's Edge expiring names package. I was mad at myself at first for not making sure it wasn't recurring, but I noticed in the original emails and listings there's nothing about it being so. I assumed that I was simply paying for one month and that would be that. When you sign up for payment, the option is for either 1 month, 12 months, or 24 months.

Slightly underhanded tactics by Godaddy IMHO, I definitely won't be ordering any other services there. Be warned if you're like me and just wanted to check things out.

Assuming the service itself offered nothing special over typical drop-list sites?

Hate to say it, but this is quite your fault. This is how most site I've seen generally do things. 1 month means pay month my month, 12 means 1 year by year, and 24, you get the picture.

It is just a misunderstanding imho. Your error... Godaddy has no rights to reverse the system. Well... looks you have the service for a year now!

The service wasn't bad. I managed to backorder and catch book-store.us which I feel isn't a bad hyphenated .us name. It was a good list and was worth what you pay for it. Just know that it doesn't really land you the more premium names; that's for TDNAM at this point.

I wanted to test it out and in my particular case I have better success registering domains on my own.
