Now I didn't know where this should have been so putting it in search engines section.

Okay the question... In my SEO there is a small section where Forums Signature links are also taken in.

As you can see I have this links in my signature.

Now if I change the signature from My User CP will it change every link on my previous 2000 posts?

If it changes the links to all 2000 posts then I will lose this backlinks from namepros itself.

Now I have more sites that I can put in my signature. And I want to rotate some of them in my signature. But If I put a new one then the old one will disappear.

So if someone could give me some info on this then it will be appreciated.

Thanks.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

Yes, when you change your sig it is universal to all your posts, past, present, and future.

Will you lose the backlinks? When and if those archived pages get reindexed they will show your new sig links.

The rotate question answers itself if I understand you correctly.

Peace,
Cyberian

I think you can add all your site on your sig as long as it abide by the NP sig link rules.

Sig links are retroactive so your new sig link will appear on all your previous posts.

Actually by default I believe Vbulletin wont change previous signatures in posts and only changes the signature for new posts. Unless namepros tweaked it so that it would be universal. But I know in my vbulletin forum that if you change the signature, it is only changed on future posts and not past posts.

I just looked and it appears your right. It looks like it is universal. :)

Can you tell what's your opinion based on?

The signature will change globally i.e from all 2000+ posts.

I think best solutions is what you have already done. Go for max links in priority order. If you want more links from the same forums then you need throw some bucks from your post to the person selling signature in marketplace forums.

Anyway, Congratulations!! You become the Leader of Search Engines section of NamePros.

at forums powered by IPB links will not change, you will have all links like at the time of post

In DP I have seen this kind of system sometime ago. So was just inquiring about it.

No probs mate. Because upon discussion we can know and make new opinions about the things. :)
