Doesn't cease to amaze my about how the "big boys" are staking their territory in the cannabis niche..
this is a recent email of mine...

    "
    Hello,
We are in the process of switching to new ownership and for this reason, as of July 2nd the affiliate program will be on hold. Please remove or pause any links and promotions you have on your website for our Affiliate Program.

You will be paid out for the month of June in full up until July 2nd.

The new owners will send you an email with their decision if they will be continuing the program or not.

We thank you for your business thus far with (name removed) and we wish you luck with the new management.

    Thanks, "
    That company sells seeds..

note: Used one of the cannabis domains, developed a site for a affiliate program, was getting good traffic and making money from it! Now I have to change URL affiliate links in over 50+ review pages... just when I was planning on spending less time on the net...but business is busine$$

Can you say which company you were an affiliate for? This shouldnt be confidential info since it is an email blast. Reason being I would like to develop an affiliate site for seeds but not sure who to go with.

These companies typically have hundreds if not thousands of affiliates. It would still be considered an email blast. Again, I would just like to know your experience and which companies you have a good or bad experience with. Thank you for the info.

What opportunities lie ahead for all of our domains..

We as domainers tend too follow sales and seo metrics as a prediction of the future. Its actually both and the legislation that gains investor confidence too put money into this industry. Its not easy to convey a long term investment in a domain if your not even sure if you can make cbd cookies legally.

This goes into the pet care domains. Once its legal and the avma sets their rules. People can invest and sleep easier knowing thier company is legit

As the states legalize the national hemp policy we should see more and more of this. Florida is next. This is just starting, what a opportunity.

Ohio my home state is at least a season away from any hemp production. Or products produced locally.

The scope of this legislation covers such a wide amount of product sectors. The confidence is building.

Watching the plethora of products coming out of hemp will be fascinating. The future holds so many uses we don't even know or understand yet.

    uhhhh.... this? -

Malana Cream is a hash made from heirloom cannabis grown in this remote area of the Parvati Valley. In Amsterdam, the stuff sells for $250 per tola, which is 11.66 grams of hashish. In major Indian cities like Dheli, the hash retails at $40.

@hawkeye Do you think it has a great value? Because i am trying to sell it but still trying to figure out where should i look for the direct buyer.

Malana Cream is the most expensive hashish product on Amsterdam Coffee Shop menus. It also has won the Best Hashish title twice, in 1994 and 1996, at High Times magazine’s Cannabis Cup. Some theories claim that Malana plants may contain 32- 42% of THC which is pretty huge percentage.

I truly believe MalanaCream.com has a big future specially when cannabis become fully legalized. People will not be contented for what they have. Malana Cream will become precious and luxury because it can't be made anywhere but only from the ancient village on the mountains in Malana, Himachal Pradesh, India. It will be the Caviar of cannabis. Its uniqueness was from its unique natural growing environment. From the untampered ancient place and culture because of being isolated. The fresh natural water, air, soil and the natural nutrients where it grows. The villagers believe that they have pure Aryan genes and that they are descendants of Alexander the Great's soldiers. So probably Malana Cream is the hashish that Alexander the Great's soldiers smoked or maybe himself too. It is regarded as high purity hash. Cannabis cup winner. The best hashish in the world. The Goddess of all hashish.

Malana cream has high oil content and an intensely fragrant aroma. Many hash retailers label hash as Malana Cream to increase profits. Some sources suggest that these plants can also express some high-cbd phenotypes. Charas are made using a unique and ancient technique for hashish preparation. Malana Cream is a hand-rubbed charas.

I might have been. I've been dropping what I consider too be poor quality domains in this sector.

Trying too just own quality is my goal, if it doesn't make sense then I drop.

Of my inventory about a third is what I consider $8 ideas that didn't work out.

Generally if the domain can't be appraised or I see the sector as a sketchy long hold, well then there's my decision.

I'd rather focus on the 1000 good ones i have and let a few hundred go that I would struggle too market too endusers.

Great Cbd, Canna and Leaf domains, Hemp, and Cannabis etc. I'm holding if it makes sense.

As the industry defines itself its pretty clear by watching sales what the future in this is. Quality, Quality and Quality.

People can easily enough buy poor quality domain or tld or name for .99 cent.

Short of the 3 word cbd market and a few other sales. Most everything I see selling is following the basic domain principles. Short, 2 word, .com or a brandable.

I checked and I have leafarmed and others like this, i forget exactly if i dropped
    farmedleaf.

Ones man's weed is a others flower though.

    Thank you @Leafurl
I actually spotted it in closeouts and decided to pick it up. I thought you might have dropped it by mistake or something that's why I asked. Anyway I looked up old whois and it turned out it previously belonged to a Chinese domainer apparently.

Btw it is farmer with an R at the end, not a D.

Just my thoughts..since it is a small niche keyword, how are you at outbound sales?

Best quote I read in a long time regarding dropping domains....$8.00 is way better than $100 ideas (personal experience) lol

    That’s true in theory.

What we typically see in this biz is people going for quantity over quality. They simply do not know better. So, are 100 $8 ideas better than 8 $100 ideas? I’d go with the latter every time.

When I started this most every $8 idea was a two word seo in 2014. Choose what one wanted. Canna, leaf, Cbd etc.

I haven't bought a $8 domain in over a year, and even when I could it was either luck or a bad idea :), or a regional. I think utaherb was one of my last a year or more.

I'm with Kieth on quality of quantity.

Thankfully I have alot of quality. Easier too look at the situation from this vantage.

Times have changed as the business grows. Looks like alot is selling.

Junk is junk though. And watching trends and sales i can easier see a idea not worth a renewal fee.
