Is anyone else experiencing a large drop in earnings per click this month? I have sedo and parked accounts and both are performing far below average this month. I am not sure why :( I am used to seeing $6-$9 days on certain domains in sedo but recently EPC has dropped drastically on those domains and I am realizing $2-$4 days. I am hesitant to change keywords yet as prior to October EPC was decent. Are there explanations for this I do not realize? Thanks in advance.

This first week of October has been far lower for me too. I'd say about half the norm, on Fabulous.com.

Mine are WAY below normal this month! I actually came to the parking subforum to see if anyone else was experiencing this as well, and sure enough...

Some of them are at least 50% below normal. :'(

I'm also down on Fabulous, Parked and Bodis this month. Lets see if this week improves.

I have sites which have been active for 7-8 years. They are mostly niche sites and produce revenue from % of sales and Adsense. While one would think that the fall/winter holidays would be the best months this has not been my experience. October - December are always my worst earners. Along with this January, August and September are typically the best. I have never been a big parker (more so in the last several months) but the same trends seem to be showing up there.

Just what I have seen over a number of years.

Ok, well I feel a little better that I am not the only one experiencing this... Sorry, not happy about anyones misfortune. I wonder what the cause of this is? If I remember right, the worst EPC happens in the beginning of the month then the end usually heats up but this is worse than any others..

I'm mostly at Parked but mine are around half as well, Over all I'm getting a much lower CTR as well as visits.

Kinda scary 8-X 8^X :ghost:

Thanks for your insight into the long term measures.
My rev is also down for the last couple of weeks, however I dont panic.
Unless you are still in the tweaking stage, I have found checking stats every hour just leads to unnecessary grief and worry.

My 2 bits.

Once every hour is just silly. I find that once every 20 30 minutes relieves my stress level ::: grin :::

Seriously, it looks like yesterday was back on track for me.

Who said anything about checking stats every hour? Once or twice a day is fine, but I am talking about a time period of a week+ here. Not panicking just hoping to get some feedback from other npers.

my CTR on bodis has been nil!!
can't do much about it i guess.. almost all parking providers hav more or less a similar sort of template..

I though that it was the other way around. I was under the impression that we are supposed to get higher EPC at the beginning of the month, because most advertising programs reset every month, but at the end of every month they begin to run out of funds on their campaigns and the EPC gets cut. Which is it?
Thanks

Same here! The EPC on the few clicks I have had has been pretty decent at Bodis, but my CTR is very poor there.

Glad I'm not alone.

I moved about 200 domains away from Sedo that were getting visits but no clicks.

The remaining 150 domains at Sedo (including my past best producers) have had 1900 views and are earning a whopping total of $1 per day so far in October.

Pretty sad ...

Hi Susi,
Care to share where you moved them?
How are they doing at the new place?

:)

I think the nice weather may have a small influence on this in new Jersey they rehired a bunch of lifeguards, and yesterday I took my grandkids swimming in the pond, 85 degrees in october
