So let's just say I'm versed in the many negotiation tactics and antics of sellers and traders but I had an exchange that left me speechless and like WTF tonight.... I figured a thread where we can share weird replies we've received from sellers/buyers was needed. Disclaimer.... I'm not a saint and don't always have the best forum etiquette but I don't think I'm douche in PM's and try to be a stand up guy. I don't want to come off as I'm holier than thou.

I have to decline your offer. Most expire next year and I've already have higher offers. I appreciate your reply but I cannot accept $15 For those domains. Lastly, Im trying to move all of them, not some.

Some I've received higher offers on and some not so much but I'd like to move them. If I accept $20 each will you take them all? If you'd take them all, you have a deal. If you only want the ones you've selected I'll have to pass brother. .sampleextension and sampleextension are driving these premiums up.

Thats what happen if you keep outbidding someone in auctions. You expect dislikes from people. It is normal.


I've come across a lot of kids when dealing with sports cards, so I'm going to assume I'm dealing with some young kid/adult or a rich prick. I'd hate to think any adult would resort to cyber pressuring someone into accepting their offer, or grudges for being outbid on an auction. Lol. I have some rude stories I can share from over the years but this one tonight caught me off guard. He wasn't a totally butt wipe but he was out of line.

I have an ongoing dispute with someone (AFAIK, not someone on this forum), who emails me about every six months about a domain he wants for next-to-nothing.

Unfortunately for him, I'm not on board with his lowball offers.

He's usually very rude -- he just feels very entitled.

When he emails me, I just send him links to the auction site; I refuse to get into a snarkfest with a numpty buyer.
