Hi all. I have a couple of questions.
If I don't want a domain name that I have to resolve, meaning, I don't want any page to show at all, which I guess would result in a "page not found" type of response in the browser for the user, what is the best way to do that?
I've done this in the past by using a 301 redirect to a malformed URL that cannot resolve. But I've been wondering if there is a better way to do this like maybe publishing the name without nameservers if that is allowed/possible. I don't want to do anything that injures the name (future SEO etc) in any way. Please pardon my ignorance with this stuff.
Also, what do you guys think about Namecheap? Are they part of enom and also an Icann accredited registrar? They seem good to me but at times the site is a little slow and their whois seems to take a little while to update.
Thanks for any suggestions/opinions.
