Server trouble -- We're going to have to move NamePros

We have had recurring hardware problems on our main NamePros server over the past few weeks.

The hard drive is crashed right now. We're still up because our database runs on a different server, but some of our functionality, like our chat room, is not working.

We're going to have to move the site to a new server and there is going to be some downtime of a few hours when we do. I don't know yet when this will happen.

I was searching for a certain GoDaddy coupon code. I found it, though. Dunno why the search wouldn't work for me... I'll try it out again later. It might have been an isolated incident.

This is great news! NamePros seems to run a lot faster now than the last couple of weeks. Have really struggled with NamePros some times and its nice to see that you make these efforts so that the community doesn't take harm

Is the problem in the main forum scripts? Couldn't you just upload a new copy of the scripts and restore the database?

Database was unaffected. Problem wasn't with the scripts or software, it was the hardware that failed. They went through a process of 4 different servers/hard drives.

I hope and wish this one holds up.

Umm yeah, that's it. All data was preserved... except those two or three sales threads from MIR.
