Update: We've successfully retired the gerbils running in the server wheel and upgraded to a team of stallions. :P The Primary Maint. of changing servers is now complete. Please report / post any issues you may be experiencing in this thread. It would be extremely helpful if you can include screenshots, browser + version, operating system, and as much detail as possible about the issue / bug you encountered.

When did RSS stop working for you? I haven't been able to get it to work at all for me, even before we switched servers.

Cyberian, I think I fixed that tag link 404 issue that you were encountering. I still can't reproduce it, but I found something that might cause such an error. It would have always been a problem, though, not just since the server migration, so it's still a bit of a mystery. It might have been triggered by that IE fix that we made.

Today I found that I can't edit my signature. It works fine, but when I delete a line, I get an error that says my signature contains too many lines and must be shortened. Even if I deleted a line and not added one.

Confirmed.. Using a test account I was able to confirm that it's cutting signatures off at 2 lines even though the VB settings are set at 4 lines. All the settings seem to be accurate with 4 lines and 750 characters.

I'll add this to our list to further troubleshoot.

Please test your signature again, our tests show its working now. paul thumped it's head and it started cooperating.. :P

Signatures should be fixed. I've disabled some of the line checks that were causing trouble.

Alright, so it hasn't been working for a while. Right now we're focusing on issues that arose as a result of the server migration or recent optimizations. We'll keep RSS in our issues list, though.

The auction forum is set to not allow the first post to be edited by regular users (Free accounts) for a few different reasons. The main ones are the huge amount of times we've encountered members trying to change the auction guidelines after bids were already placed and members trying to remove domains after bids were already placed on them (deciding not to sell them).

We understand this can sometimes cause a problem when people list a bulk list of domains and trying to run 5, 10, 20 auctions all in the same thread (which can get confusing for everyone anyways). It's normally best to run independent auctions for either a single domain or a bulk sale (winner takes all).

The auction forum is one of our Most reported marketplace forums. It tends to attract the most manipulation and rule violations from both buyers and sellers. regrettably, most those violations are committed by free accounts that don't have as much vested into NamePros and their Reputation. Which is why the edit block mainly just effects free accounts.

I apologize for the inconvenience and can assure you that we do have plans in the future to better the experience of that forum and the rest of the marketplace for everyone as much as we can. The safety of our members (Both buyers & sellers) is of the utmost priority for us.

You are more than welcome to report your post and identify the domains that were sold and ask the assigned staff of that forum to edit out the domains that can be confirmed as sold.

Update: I just reset the auction forum to allow free memberships to edit their post. I'll monitor it for a while to see how everything goes. Let me know if you can edit now or if you still can't edit.

We are aware of the RSS issue and have it on the list for repairs. It may be a little bit, but we will get the rss sorted and working again eventually.

As for the tag 404 page, we're looking into it.

You're just now noticing that? Chats been disabled working on 2 months now. We found lots of bugs and security issues in the platform and disabled it. At the moment we are working on higher priority issues with NamePros and will review the chat issues again at a later date.

The gateway errors 502 are so bad I haven't been able to read a real page in 24 hours.

The list of threads show up OK, and as soon as you go to read an individual thread, it says page not available, Error 502, Bad gateway. Website is offline, The server may be down for maintenance, there may be a network problem, or the site may be experiencing excessive load.

I cleared my Chrome cache and still the same.

Thanks for trying to clear cache, however we think it may be Cookie related. Others with similar problems cleared their browser cookies and it fixed it. So lets try that first.

1. Close out NamePros and don't have it open in any tabs.
2. Clear all NamePros cookies from your browser.
3. Visit NamePros again and Login.

If you aren't prompted to login, your cookies weren't cleared properly.

Please let me know if clearing the cookies fixed it for you. If not, we'll look more into this matter.

1. Please make sure the email on your account is still valid
2. Please visit the thread in question, click "Thread Tools", Then click Subscribe. (If you are already subscribed, unsubscribe & resubscribe again).

Your account settings look fine with "Daily Notices" selected so please try the above first and let us know if that helped or not.

It may be that when a post was made, the servers were doing there nightly 30 minutes or less updating (Which may or may not have effected it)
