Sellout?

Has anyone else noticed that NamePros is starting to sell out? I see more and more ads every day. I know, you can makea lot of money, but still they are making quite a bit from it. I am not saying I am upset enough to leave I am just sad that NP is losing its value.

Man, I was getting my hopes up.

1. The guy makes a comment, with some misplaced words sure, but come on - do his comments really warrant such a lynch mob... What do some of you guys do, post as a result of the thread starter, or post because of the strength of feeling?
2. CompuXP has some bizarre ways of expressing his thoughts and arguably, he's not chosen the ideal method to express his feeling, but tell him to go away and dont come back if he doesnt agree with how things are managed around here...?? Since when did this site become something less than a community ?
3. Joseph, thats some pretty foul abuse my friend, not sure that kind of language is appropriate but im sure as heck surprised I can still read it..?

It is still a community. But rules are rules. If someone does not agree with a rule, they professionally discuss it. Not whine about them and stay ticked off because they keep getting booked for not following the rules. If I keep speeding, I expect to be booked repeatedly. I don't speed and whine to the officer when he pulls me over.

And calling the site owner's action a selloff doesn't help.

This is one of those cases where there was other things besides this thread - Members don't always see it because a lot of it is deleted pretty quick - or was done in chat where many members never hang for long .....

First of all you should be grateful of being around all the people here and being able to have some great priviliges. RJ is paying for this server, and all the stuff !! What is he getting out of it ???? I think he deserves alot more than he is getting right now...

Atleast he's not like those people who charge you to join their forum ..... plus different status in your membership such as gold, platinum, exclusive ... take (DNF) as the example.... The members are segregated by the class system ... at namepros it is not like that ....

There is not a big difference b/w somebody who is poor and somebody who is rich ... We all are equal with equal access at namepros ...

For future reference ... i think you need to keep your pathetic comments/opinions to yourself ... If you can't tolerate it then i dont mind that you leave this community ... we can get rid of one person to make the community whole lot better ...especially if the person have comments which are pain in the a** ...

Telling him to make money off from just one site ... why do you own 15 sites .... why not just own 1 and not be greedy ?? am i wrong ... i bet you have 1+ sites with google adsense on them ... and i am darn sure i can proof that !!!!

I'm truely amazed by what some of you are saying towards CompuXP. Even though you may not agree with his point, everyone is titled to their own opinion. Flaming him just makes you look bad. Calling him an "asshole" doesnt make this issue any better. Im not saying all his reasons are right, im not saying they are wrong. Im just saying everyone has freedom of speech. Some of you say he lacks maturity, you should take a look at your own person. Thats all I have to say.

I think more people have issues with you, XP, (and other's like you) than with the forum. Bundles of negative energy. Mad that their ego got bruised once. I hang out in the dnf chat alot and i hear all the stories and none hold much merit.

Yes, now we just need a gray version to match our NP set.

As for this topic, a rolling eyes smiley is the only safe and sure reply.

There are personal situations involved here, private stuff, some people holding grudges against NP staff members (etc.) and these things are to be expected on occasion, but it's a shame it surfaced in the form of a thread questioning NP and RJ selling out. That's pretty low. And that's why many have taken offense.

Anyway, are we all thru here?

Before it makes the entire np to rebel, or have disunity in the forum,it will be a good idea to close this thread and bury this false-imprisonment against RJ right here.
