status-monitor Can we not have image captcha on mobile?

I visit NP from my phone quite often (putting it mildly). Lately I've noticed that when I go to the second page of the marketplace I have to do some kind of image captcha.

It's really annoying because it does not set any cookie, it just does it every time.

If there is any way to not have that captcha on my mobile device (which has a small screen), it would be great.

It should definitely be setting a cookie. Is this Android or iOS?

There wasn't supposed to be a captcha there anyway; it was just supposed to perform a browser integrity check. Also, that wasn't supposed to be performed until page 10 and up. I've ensured that it only does a browser integrity check in the future unless it thinks there's an elevated risk, and I've adjusted it to only challenge for pages that a human wouldn't likely be accessing.

That being said, there should still have been a cookie. When I tested it myself, the captcha completion was remembered--I didn't have to complete it again. The cookie was set to expire after 24 hours. I still don't know why that wasn't working for you, since I wasn't able to reproduce it.

Thanks! I use an android phone with samsung browser. I have adjusted my privacy settings as well. Perhaps it was on my end. Not sure.
