advice Selling via LinkedIn Message Ads

Has anyone been successful selling domains via LinkedIn Message ads?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

I have around 1400 connections on Linkedin & have messaged all with a general message with a link to my portfolio as well as certain individuals regarding specific domains. Response has been....minimal ! Very few people even acknowledge the message, a handful of thanks, thanks but no thanks, i'll look into it (!) and one 'gentleman' who told me where to go, in fact, just in case I hadn't fully understood his displeasure or what he would like me to do, he reiterated it with an immediate follow up message ! Slightly unnecessary considering I only messaged him the once, was very polite and thanked him for his time !

Running ads works. there is threads on here. I think the suggestion was only to CEOs of over 5000 employees or something like that. dig for the thread , sorry not sure what it was called. likely " Linkedin outbound " or something. o , and it has to be a true premium domain or specialized very attractive to the specific industry,

I use LinkedIn quiet a lot to sell names on my VRContent page. I don't neccessarily message people but I do advertise names on my page. I have 30,000 connections and most of them are VR, AR, Holo, Crypto, Drone and Robotics so I advertise some names that are relevant to their industry. It has lead to quite a few sales over the years, some repeat buyers too. I do marketing promotions for some companies and promote their business to my 30,000 connections.

I don't do it on linked in directly i usually get emails for the marketing team and get in contact with them that way
