Hi,
I have a question for all of you guys.
Almost all my domains are parked at Sedo. Some of them got traffic, there is some revenue.
I’m not looking for revenue for now, the main idea why I’m park domains with Sedo is because when somebody will come to my parked page he will see the link “Domain is for sale”, he would be able to see the traffic info, also he would see was there any offers on this domain (I think if domain has some offers at Sedo – it can have some influence on the potential buyer) and finally that “somebody” could make me an offer via Sedo (solid company).
This is how I’m doing.
Other option: Landing page with link “Domain is for sale”
In my opinion this is not a great idea.
Pluses:
- you can make professional, beautiful landing page (maybe it have some influence on potential buyer)
Minuses:
- potential buyer don’t see traffic stats
- don’t know about any previous offers
- don’t see Sedo
Next option: Minisite
Pluses:
- some revenue (if there is)
Minuses:
- potential buyer may think that this is developed project and the owner won’t sell it
- potential buyer don’t see traffic stats (if there is no counter)
- don’t know about any previous offers
- don’t see Sedo
It would be great to hear your thoughts.
Thanks, Nick
P.S. I’m interested also – does somebody of you use Amazon affiliate programs? If yes – is it good?
