Hello. I am wondering about these things on Sedo parking:

1. Why some of my domains get good CTR (~25-30%), while some others get 0-2% CTR? What might be the reason for this big difference?

2. What are the main factors of CPC (on Sedo EPC)? I know about traffic factor, but what else - does it depend on category of the domain name of something like that?

Hi

1. the difference in CTR for one domain versus another, within the same ppc service, is a common occurrence, and is not unique to sedo or any other ppc.

why?

some domains just don't generate enough "click-thru's" for a variety of reasons.

which could be as simple as....there are no advertisers willing to pay for that name or it's keywords. or that ppc has different ad feed, etc.

2. EPC is determined by what an advertiser will pay for a click for that term or keywords. the higher the CTR the more or less you'll earn based on EPC or earnings per click.

a domain can earn $50 per click and have very low CTR

a domain can earn $0.05 per click and have very high CTR.

however, you may have to try other ppc services for those low performing domains, to see which "service" produces highest earnings.

imo....

Id leave Sedo. I personally do not trust them when it comes to domain parking.

It all depends on the type of domain and the amount of typein traffic it receives. I think sedo is not a good place to park a domain name. they pay too low, very sad thing. I have parked many domains since 2009 on sedo and it's 2013 and not got a single payout. Total parked domains are 30. If you want to make money from parking use some other than sedo.
