Not sure if there has been a a similar thread before.

Just thought it would be helpful to everyone to see what Parking Key-Words are bringing the best click through rates on different domains parked at Sedo.

the rest of my parked pages (mostly technology related) get maybe $0.10 a click some are as low as $0.04...

but on my poker domains I have gotten as much as $2.00 for 1 click...

Casino and Poker seem to do the best for me for related domains (in the 83c to 1.80 range). The rest generally do 5c - 12c per click, usually right on 10c. Adult Portal sometimes is not bad if you get the right link clicked.

I've received 0.95 euros on Home security a couple of times.

No, you can put poker as keyword in non poker related domains. They have denied me this keyword in some of my domains.

Yes you are quite right. They go through a manual process and can be rejected. I found the solution was just to change a couple of keywords at a time. When I tried to change 50 at once they were rejected.

I don't really understand Sedos policy on this. You would think they would want to maximise there share of parking revenue too. I suppose its to keep the parking pages relevant so as to keep a large diversity of advertisers involved.

Is the policy the same at Fabulous?

Ditto the above. Poker/Casino .80+ - $3+/- are my highest payouts/click
For high click % and volume, OS/Registry tweaks do well for me.
3LL names and 3char .com/.net receive consistent traffic, however, I'm reasonably certain that these visits come mainly from speculators who are mining for 3 char names and who run mass searches on a regular basis.

I will also say that sedo traffic has pretty much dried up for me, and I've mostly moved on to other services/methods, although I still keep a few domains parked there.

This is exactly why I think this thread is important.

A lot of fuss made about uniques but the bottom line is how much per click.

I would rather have a parked domain with 5 uniques a month and 1 click through at a dollar, than more traffic but clicks at 0.03 euros.

When I first began parking w/ Sedo I found this to be the case. But as they, (or their computer), got to "know" me, they have pretty much given me free reign. I recently listed 150 names en masse w/o a rejection. But, I have also gotten to know them and their parameters for optimization through trial and error. I think it is a good idea to always preview your listing using a variety of keyword variables.

They have to walk the line between the advertiser and the domain holder. On one side, they want to receive as much advertising income as possible. On the other, they need to maintain the quality of the traffic that is being sent to their advertisers. or their entire program will lose it's credibility. Remember, ppc is based upon the notion that a % of the clicks will result in sales for the advertiser. If that breaks down and the clicks don't produce, than, ppc goes down the toilet.

Hm, as i looked through my statistics, Sedo pays normal price (not .03 - .05) only for USA (may be Canada, never got a a visitor from Canada). Even "true" european french, spanish click give 0.03 -0.05. Seems it's like this.

I'd like to hear official position of Sedo, may be later i'll write them a message, now too busy. Mabe anyone else or even Sedo clarifies a litle bit about this?
