I'm new parking and have some questions:


1. What is the best parking sevice out there? bodis, parked, namedrive...?


2. How do parked pages generate traffic? I'm know they do in page ptimisation but I dont think they do any off page

optimisation.

3. Do the major search engines nit block these page or at least make them rank low and if so how do they get traffic

4. what can an average domain name expect to generate in a month?

1. There is no 1 better parking service out there. Some domains work better at different parking providers. It's a case of trying them out and finding which provider suits which domain best.

2. Traffic is generated by type-in or search engine traffic. Some parking providers like Parked allow arbitrage to the parked pages through adwords and alike. Good optimization of a parked page can really help.

3. A well optimized parked page can do quite well. Search engines will look for custom content, so the ability to optimize is important.

4. It depends on the domain. Financial domains do better than adult names as far as revenue goes and so on. Once again some domains do better than some others with different parking providers. Fabulous is reputed to be good with gambling domains, parking panel good for adult domains, and so on.


It really is just a matter of trial and error and finding the best home for your domains.

If you only have a few domains you might want to check out namedrive. Other parking companies have minimums and application processes.
