Suppose I listed one domain name in SEDO after paying $ 59 listing fee for Direct Auction. If my domain name sells for $ 119. How much I will get from them? They charge a minimum of $ 60 as their commission. From $ 119 after deduction of $ 60, I will get a net amount of $ 59 to my PayPal account. Then, PayPal will deduct 5% commission, I will get net $ 56.05. Interestingly, I forfeit my domain name plus $ 2.95 cash with this SEDO sales. Just imagin what kind of feeling I will be having in my mind and heart.
Sedo is not for small names, there is no sense in dealing with them when they cut $ 60 as their minimum commission.
More sales can take place, more listing can be placed, if SEDO revises the minimum commission from $ 60 to $ 10 or the prescribed percentage on the total sale amount. For example, in the above sales of $ 119, if their commission rate is 15%, they should deduct only $17.85 only instead of $ 60.
I hope many will agree with my views.
