By request, we've decided to start a thread dedicated to Sedo. We're looking for invaluable insight into what domainers want and need out of our parking program (and marketplace, of course).

Questions, comments, suggestions, tips are welcome! We're hoping this will be a great discussion about what works at Sedo and what might not (please be constructive and respectful to others in your feedback) so that everyone involved can benefit and learn from it.

Cloudflare is unable to establish an SSL connection to the origin server.

There is an unknown connection issue between Cloudflare and the origin web server. As a result, the web page can not be displayed.

Could you please tell me what is the "Name Server" in order to get the 10% comission-rate ?
I could not find this information at the Sedo-website at the section "Domain-Verkaufsseite".

I do NOT want to use "Parking / Advertisements" on the Landing-Page. I just want to use the "Sales-Lander" without "Parking / Advertisements".

Unfortunately, this forwards to a website named "findresultsonline.com" which is showing Advertisements.

Does SEDO have a Nameserver which does not show any Advertisements ? But still having a comission-rate of 10 percent ?

I just tried "NS1.SEDOPARKING.COM" and "NS2.SEDOPARKING.COM" (which is mentioned at the Sedo-website), but this gives an empty page. Maybe because I do not want to use "Parking / Ads" and did not fill out the form...

Is their recommended NS i guess. Though they didnt update the info everywhere yet for a long time.
This NS can be used to show either the lander or parking page by clicking on the domain name and configure it in the domain settings.
By default, sl.xxx.com will just show the sales lander. Only if you change it in the settings it will show the advertisements instead.

If you use sl1.sedo.com & sl2.sedo.com, by default there will be NO adverts. It will only show the sales lander page. For adverts you need to change it manually, by clicking on any domain and then click on Layout the page that open.

Sorry for the delay ive been out of the office for a few days. We encourage our customers to use the SL1 and SL2 sales lander, it is more individual than the old ns1 lander and is more secure against attacks. Switching name servers will reroute the traffic from one k8s cluster to another and to another cassandra store where the certificate get stored. Any certificates will have to be re-issued before they are available.

Lander change will take 15+ mins as far as I have noticed. Probably what you saw was because of the sedoparking lander

I am using the Nameservers "SL1" and "SL2".


ERROR:
when entering my domain into the FireFox-browser in the format "https://mydomain.com" (with httpS and without the www), then it gives the following browser-ERROR-page:

It does NOT show the "Landing-Page" due to an SSL-ERROR.


Interesting:

Over 2 months now. I guess nothing important has come up. I've noticed there are people asking questions about the new SedoTMP/RSOC but meanwhile "Your Sedo Team":

The TLS certificate will be generated on the fly when you visit the page the first time on https.

I did a page-reload (F5) several times.
The Landing-Page does not show up.


It is different for each and every domain. For some domains the Landing-Page shows up, for other domains it does not.

Please try using the format "https://www.mydomain.com" (with httpS and with the www) and have a look if the Landing-Page shows up for your domains. Again: for some domains it works, for others it does not work.
