By request, we've decided to start a thread dedicated to Sedo. We're looking for invaluable insight into what domainers want and need out of our parking program (and marketplace, of course).

Questions, comments, suggestions, tips are welcome! We're hoping this will be a great discussion about what works at Sedo and what might not (please be constructive and respectful to others in your feedback) so that everyone involved can benefit and learn from it.

Correct - it is not consistent. When you enter a minimum price less than 250, even for a Make Offer minimum, it gives the following, saying that the commission is a minimum of $220, not $200, and your price needs to be $30 over that, $250 at least.

Agree, there are several rather well sold TLDs on this list that I had no idea of the $220 (or $200 depending which place is correct) minimum commission. One must be careful in setting prices and MO minimums to make sure the return is significant.

I don't understand the reasoning. An extension like .gg is handled by many major registrars. If a domain sells, the transfer process is essentially the same. Why should there be a $220 minimum to Sedo?

Sedo has gone to great lengths to make this incredibly difficult to find, even when you're already on the pricelist page. You have to expand a section that's barely noticeable. They probably don't even know about it themselves anymore.

Well I deleted my .cv domains from Sedo in June because of this, even if the minimum fee in some cases would be inconsequential ($2k BIN), because I know I would forget this at some point.

I see potential buys can 'watch' a domain.

Am I missing it, or is there no way for sellers to see how many people are watching a given domain?
