Hi All! :hi:

By request, we've decided to start a thread dedicated to Sedo. We're looking for invaluable insight into what domainers want and need out of our parking program (and marketplace, of course).

Questions, comments, suggestions, tips are welcome! We're hoping this will be a great discussion about what works at Sedo and what might not (please be constructive and respectful to others in your feedback) so that everyone involved can benefit and learn from it.

Only some languages, like DE, really work on your sales landers...
As quick test - I just switched V1 lander to Polski, Russian and Italiano - no any translation there, it shows English.
Their direct reply:
other languages aren't showing up because we don't have full marketplace versions in those languages. The language menu on the sales lander will therefore be fixed in order not to show those that are not translated.

And traditional privacy suggestion, it is asked yearly and many times...
Please don't display the seller's country, show just VAT status (Yes/No) - and this is enough.
Or show country - only if it is among VAT countries.

@Sedo, only with you this privacy issue.

@Sedo maybe consider showing xyz names when someone does a keyword search. Seems like it could benefit your platform, as well as your sellers. Apologies if this has already been suggested.

They highlight only .com/.net/.org/.co

In other words, if ERR_CONNECTION_RESET in Chromium 91/92 = the same error is shown in Chrome 91/92.

No error in 93.
In 95 it also works...

From what I see during last years, for regular members Sedo doesn't allow to list the domains without their nameservers or TXT records, right?

I know Sedo frequently checks availability and will delete the name if it is not registered. I also believe that if I add a domain that is already in their system that it triggers a Whois verification. I just updated my listings there and cleaned up some old and added a bunch. I didnโ€™t need their name servers or text file

i have domains .co.uk sold at sedo, reg at dynadot & internet BS but there is problem to move domain to buyer account

i ussualy can push domain .co.uk from dynadot but sedo staff (iris) said :
i have to login to nominet to move this domain..

i try to login to nominet for acces but no answet from 2 days ago until now

i asked dynadot staff, the staff said i DONT NEED to login to nominet to move domain, i can do it just from my dynadot account.

i sent her SS of our chat, but she said i have to login to nominet to move this domain

my questions are:
why i cant move domain from dynadot account directly without login to nominet?

can i push domain to sedo account at dynadot?

can you help me to solve this problem.thank you

I will try to answer your questions: it is important that all communications regarding transactions should be posted through the Sedo transfer center to ensure security and that there is one clear line of communication. I can confirm what your transfer agent told you already regarding the process: in general the process with Nominet is required with regard to updating the ownership and that this is the process the registry has established to handle such transfers.
If you have further questions, please get in touch with your transfer agent through to the Transfer Center. Our experts there will help you to clarify further domain transfer related questions.

Thank you for noticing this and letting us know. The domain has been deleted and is not for sale anymore at Sedo.

why does sedo delete domains when you list them on alter.com? it can't be nameserver related because you don't have to keep your ns pointed there after they are listed.

Check if you have domain distribution turned on at Alter.com. Alter automatically lists the domain on all the marketplaces and it'll remove any previous listings.

yes they are listed on sedo. with a 20% markup.thx.

Sedo not responding to ticket so post here.

Name was scheduled for 2 letter auction and showed accordingly in my interface. However, name was not showing in inventory so contacted Sedo accordingly. No response apart from the name has now been removed from "auction" status in my account and reverted to not for sale!
Not quite the way to deal with this situation, but then ---!
