By request, we've decided to start a thread dedicated to Sedo. We're looking for invaluable insight into what domainers want and need out of our parking program (and marketplace, of course).

Questions, comments, suggestions, tips are welcome! We're hoping this will be a great discussion about what works at Sedo and what might not (please be constructive and respectful to others in your feedback) so that everyone involved can benefit and learn from it.

Please add one more option in Settings (ON/OFF) to hide the public indication of minimum offer.
Or hide it by default.

They bid what they see on your pages, exactly this amount.
I'm already enough of those bids.
Hide it by default (like on Epik/DAN) or provide the individual option to hide it.

And in most cases further negotiations with Minimum-bidders don't produce any good sales.
Just waste of time and nerves.

Not some, but MANY lazy registrants... I don't call them domainers.
Every month I spend hours of my time to kill their previous activity.

Since this week I often get "The connection was reset" error and delay 1-2 seconds, and only then any my parked domain loads...
The same error I see when I check via httpstatus.io (Canonical domain check enabled).
It happens not always, but often.

No such issues with any other platform/website.

I'm not sure what you are saying. I dont run the site's DNS so take what I say with a grain of salt. When I put in http and go to godaddy it redirects to a secure page for me so the DNS is working automatically. I do not believe the test you are doing will work because it is not understanding the site is dynamic. It is not a simple 301 redirect to https godaddy it is redirected to a myriad of secure sites based on different variables. So you may be redirected to a country specific secure url like in.godaddy.com or you may be directed to a page for you personally with your Premier Rep contact info on it and the domains landing page, or a Hosting specific page with your Pro info. There's a ton of different redirects from my quick check into it based on specific user variables. It is not a straight you type in X and get forwarded to https X it is however in my quick tests redirecting to a secure personalized URL which I believe is too complex for the simple test the website you are using to detect. Again though, I am not responsible for the DNS, but it does appear to be working correctly.

This is what I get in Chromium 91/92 a few months already when visiting GoDaddy...
After ERR_CONNECTION_RESET there is 1-2 seconds delay - and only then I land on ua.godaddy.com

The most popular browser on Earth.

And as I said the status website is doing a check that is incompatible with how we utilize our DNS. Our website is not configured to be a simple redirect from http to https. It is not a simple 301 redirect. It is set to redirect to specific secure urls based on different criteria for each user. Not everyone goes to the same page, nor do we want them to.

I just installed Chromium 93. And tried a few times both GoDaddy and @Sedo parked domains - it loads without this error.
Or it is already fixed on their side.

I'm not going to argue with you about it. That wikipedia article I believe is correct from my knowledge of browsers and aligns perfectly with what I said. It does not support your point. Chromium is used in Chrome but it is not equal to Chrome, it is also used in other browsers stated in that article, Edge and Opera. But Edge and Opera do not equal chromium just like Chrome does not equal Chromium.

The article goes on to say other parties compile the open source code and release browsers with the Chromium name and logo. The fact that there are parties, plural, and they compile it, almost certainly differently otherwise what it is the point of retranslating the code to the same codebase multiple times, means that even within the Chromium browser name and logo itself there are various code bases and therefore differing abilities to play nice with other code bases used in various wesbsites online the browswer is supposed to render. Reading this article if anything makes me understand why we do not support Chromium as a browser.

As I said I will not argue this point any more. Chromium is not listed in our supported browsers so if it does not work for you and you want to use our website you will need to use an alternative browser from the list I gave above.

Only some languages, like DE, really work on your sales landers...
As quick test - I just switched V1 lander to Polski, Russian and Italiano - no any translation there, it shows English.

GD, I don't need your awful and incompetent service at all, including Afternic/Uniregistry.
No my domains with you. And all accounts removed.
Here was just BUG report, because the same error on both GoDaddy and @Sedo landers, and no error using other websites.
