By request, we've decided to start a thread dedicated to Sedo. We're looking for invaluable insight into what domainers want and need out of our parking program (and marketplace, of course).

Questions, comments, suggestions, tips are welcome! We're hoping this will be a great discussion about what works at Sedo and what might not (please be constructive and respectful to others in your feedback) so that everyone involved can benefit and learn from it.

You can get a SedoPro Endorsement Code from any current SedoPro member. Admission to users who do not have an Endorsement Code is offered only to the very highest quality portfolio owners, following extensive checks by SedoPro staff. Domain forums such as this one are good places to find SedoPro members and to retrieve an Endorsement Code.

A SedoPro code is required for anyone to join the Sedopro program. Sedopro is an upgraded parking program, with much higher revenue shares and more optimizing features. Sedopro members also get their own dedicated account manager. The minimum requirements for Sedopro is either $300 a month in parking earnings (sales not included) or 1000 domains or more. If you meet either of these requirements, then you should not hesitate to sign up for Sedopro. Many members see an immdeiate 40-50% increase in their earnings. Sedopro requires that current members get the name and email address of the prospective Sedopro applicant, so when you are ready for a code, you should provide that info to the current Sedo member in order to save a step.

Disappointed by Sedo

I got banned from Sedo for spamming about a week back. I have done ABSOLUTLY NOTHING to promote my domains, let alone spam.

Most of domains that I got listed as being promoted by spam got something like 5 unique visits per month. I really don't get this, what could be the motive behind such thing?

I have been with Sedo for 2 years and have made quite a few purchases. I feel very disappointed to be accused of something that I did not do.

I get 25k unique visitors on my developed sites per day, why would I promote my domains to make 5 cents from parking per month?

There is a mistake here and I would love for you to find out what has happened.

I am a newbie and have a few websites parked at Sedo. I was recieving a reasonable number of views and clicks in the past few weeks. However, since about 10 days, there has been no views or clicks. Is this because Sedo hasnt updated the stats? I am bewildered as to how can the views and clicks stop all of a sudden,

"This email is in regards to your account with Sedo.com. It has come to our attention that you have the following domain names listed with our parking program:

Although these domains appear to be parked with us and are accruing revenue, they cannot be accessed through a web browser.


If you could please clarify this for us, it would be of great assistance. We look forward to hearing back from you. "

I have a hundred or so names that I have sold on Sedo and have not removed the listings. I'd like to delete them as I continue to get offers on them now and again. I've tried everything and have not found a way to do a mass delete by entering all the names at once. How do I do this?

Ah, I see. That's the only way I know how to do it. Try opening a trouble ticket. Maybe Sedo can do it for you on their end if you give them a text list of the domains you need deleted.

In order to comply with our ad provider's traffic regulations, our Security and Compliance Department must block certain accounts and domains from our parking program.

If you feel your account was closed in error, please contact that department directly via [email protected]. They may be able to reinstate your account and provide you with any further assistance.

Due to the Holiday, the number of visits may have decreased to your parked domains. If you still believe there is a problem, please PM me with your Sedo username and I will see if I can look into the issue.

Please send an Excel sheet with a list of the domains you would like to delete listed in the first column to [email protected], and we will be able to delete them all at once on your behalf.

TM or Copyright Infringement

Hi Stephanie!

I have about 50 names parked with Sedo at the moment.
Recently I received an email stating that several of my names had been removed due to possible copyright infringement.

The names in question were not in anyway "copyright infringement", but could however, be considered spelling mistakes.. This is not a TM or Copyright infringement according to my lawyer friend, so, I guess my question to you would be... How can I have these names put back into the parking program?

How do they calculate that out 3 into 10 doesnt even make any cents (lol) at all! ? man what a bunch of shysters.
