Hi All! :hi:

By request, we've decided to start a thread dedicated to Sedo. We're looking for invaluable insight into what domainers want and need out of our parking program (and marketplace, of course).

Questions, comments, suggestions, tips are welcome! We're hoping this will be a great discussion about what works at Sedo and what might not (please be constructive and respectful to others in your feedback) so that everyone involved can benefit and learn from it.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and ideas! Happy Holidays!

Always,
Keith
(on behalf of Sedo)

Sedo stats don't seem to update any more. Has traffic stopped? Visiting the landing pages for those domains gets you an empty screen with this message:

Looks like Sedo has given up, canโ€™t even get a response after 2 days

Last year, I submitted a ticket on February 9 and received a reply on October 10

This might explain why my views haven't changed since the beginning of the month.

Won't you end up with major regrets for avoiding innovation all these years?

But never missed a weekend or holiday!
Edited

After all, today's Namebio report included two Sedo sales: libretti.it and goldflag.com. Whois shows both domains last updated today. Buying and selling seem to work. For how much longer?

I find it strange that nothing about Sedo's situation is leaked.
Have the IT people migrated, hence the database problems? What else is going on?
Do we have an insider who wants to share something?

I'm really sad and at a loss. Sedo is also a bit of a reflection of the German economy.

Yes, our country is in free fall. The economy is beyond repair, and all these politicians care about is migration, the energy transition (abolishing oil, gas, and power plants), and making Germans pay even more taxes for all this madness.

A bit less macro and geo ;) Sedo could have taken responsibility itself, but it didn't. Atom will be thankful.

Yes, that's true. But you can also tell that they want to get rid of the business.

It does. Received a Sedo sale confirmation E-Mail 15 minutes ago. Let's see if this is real or if a trolling forum member is making a joke.

I am not experiencing any issues with landers. And my views are updating daily.

I'll have to agree with @Bearded Goat on this. They have a problematic UI but the stats and landers seem to work fine.

I earn with them around 4 EUR /day and that seems to be stable along with the traffic shown on the UI (when it doesn't throw up an error lol), ie. no gaps in stats or abnormalities.

Moreover, I recently made a sale with them which concluded within 24hrs and I got the payment within 48hrs.

Could Sedo actually end up winning the AI race?

Does AI in this case stand for Always Inactive? Already In (bed)? Avoiding Innovation?

Or do you have knowledge that their seeming inactivity is actually due to their deep work on AI? That would be a shocker! :xf.eek:

AI = Absolute Indolence

Let's see if this is real
It was real. See reported sale here.

Sorry for confirming that late, but it took the time to close the transaction. Buyer changed Whois data today.
It is a systemic peculiarity of dot.si that a transfer consists of two separate actions: transferring the domain and changing the owner data. Sometimes it takes a little longer for the buyer and the receiving registrar to fully grasp the necessity of the second step.
Sedo had a significant amount of extra work with this deal. Thanks, Sedo!
