By request, we've decided to start a thread dedicated to Sedo. We're looking for invaluable insight into what domainers want and need out of our parking program (and marketplace, of course).

Questions, comments, suggestions, tips are welcome! We're hoping this will be a great discussion about what works at Sedo and what might not (please be constructive and respectful to others in your feedback) so that everyone involved can benefit and learn from it.

Example.com is not for sale. Replace 'Example.com' with your own domain name or someone else's that is for sale on Sedo.

How did you get the screenshot? Some Sedo provided material?

Anyway, you presume there's also a lander template that mimics the domain details page within Sedo's marketplace?

You can use F12 in your browser to edit the text and then take a screenshot. It’s true that there is a lander but I can’t select it in my account. Perhaps @Sedo is still testing it and plans to release it later? As I mentioned, you can replace example.com with another domain name that is currently for sale to see how it looks.

Okay, the link plus your edited image at first fooled me into thinking there really was a fraudulent listing.

I guess you may have seen a redirection to that marketplace page, not an actual sales lander.

Anyone know if the 'Offer Description' works on the new sales lander 15 !?

I'm guessing its supposed to be a description appearing on the lander (ala Dan landers, remember them !?)

Tried it but has not appeared, maybe it just takes a while to update ?

Also a setting to link your entire sales portfolio, again I presume, as was possible on Dan landers ?

Unfortunately, offer descriptions and portfolio links don't appear on landers but on offer pages that your buyers will only see if they can make offers.

Ah, ok, thanks. Annoying that that they don't seem to have BIN with make offer, just one or the other !

Just noticed that the BIN price appears on the offer page ! Never actually looked before & assumed it was simply offers with no BIN !

ARRGGHH ! With make offer you can't activate MLS, can only do that with BIN !?@*%43(

So, make offer or MLS but not both !

I refer to your post.

Please note, this channel is for people to provide feedback and suggestions to Sedo, we *customer support* will then pass them on to our Tech Team or business development team for consideration or implementation. We have no control over when or if any updates are made, this is decided by management and our business development team. This is why we can only post info and updates here. This is not pompous corporate language, simply, that there is no update on the issue to pass on.

And yet, in addition to the ability to communicate directly with the teams and management unit in question, it is in your control to provide explanatory information.

Instead of saying "We will inform you if there is any news", it would be a much more supportive approach to say "this issue is not on our agenda at the moment" or "we have forwarded your request and are working on it".

Open-ended answers do no good to anyone.

Is Sedo having trouble now also? I try to visit a parked domain and I get a error message. Anybody else getting this error message?
