I received a letter from Sedo, that I got the spam traffic on domains parkedon Sedo. So, they blocked my account. What should I do? I really did nothing for getting any traffic for my domains.
Does anybody had such problem with Sedo?
Thanks

I presume the "letter" is an email? What you should do is reply to the email stating that you had no idea any of your domains were being spammed, that you are willing to have any removed from the sedo parking system that are and politely ask if they would reconsider their decision.

I just hope you have not been clicking on your own ads as there is no way they will re-instate you. They will be able to see this through the IP address.

Good luck.

Yes I mean an e-mail from Sedo. But they wrote it on German language for some reason (I translated in by online translator) and asked them to send me mail in English.
I had never clicked on my own adds. And I have really small traffic on all my domains.

Sure, it's German-English translation made by online translator:

Very honoured Sedo user, Thank you that you decided for Sedo as platform for the trade and the Parking of Domains. We received a report of our Advertising provider that the majority at visitors of your Domains was classified as โ€žSpam Traffic โ€œand thus for the Domain Parking is illegal. Unfortunately we had to exclude and not know your Domains from the Domain Parking the generated assets to disburse. Their account became for the time being closed. If you should have questions or objections concerning this decision, then you turn please to [email protected]. Yours sincerely, Their Sedo team

It's an original

Sehr geehrter Sedo-Nutzer,

It basically say's:

We have received a communication from our Advertising provider that a large part of visitors to your Domains were classed as "Spam Traffic" and this is not allowed for Domain-Parking.
Unfortunately, we had to exclude your Domains from the Domain-Parking and cannot pay the generated credit. Your account has been closed for the time being.
Should you have questions or objections with regard to this decision, please contact quality management.

Thanks Len. Rep added. But I have very-very-very small traffic. It can't be spam. So I totally don't understand why they do that way.

Somebody can correct me if I am wrong but this is what I presume is happening.

Sedo has a spam filter which will not show spam hits on your management page but will show sedo which domains are getting spammed. For example, it may show you have 20 hits on xxxxxx.com for the last 31days on the management page but Sedo's spam filter may have caught 1500 hits. This shows that the domain is being spammed and even though Sedo has not attributed the hits to your domain they have still been recorded to the Ad provider.
Although the provider will not end up paying for these hits it costs them time and money to deal with.
I can only assume this is what is happening and you need to contact sedo to find out what to do to get re-instated.

HI Twomoon, can i ask how you solved the problem, I have got similar letter from sedo 3 days ago, I asked them for explanation but they came back and said nothing they can do about it . I clicked on my own domains to see how they are being advertised but that was a few times only, and i think i am done at sedo. is that mean that buyers wont be able to see my domains now ?

There is nothing wrong with visiting your own domains, to see if they resolve and are serving ads properly. What you shouldn't do is click the sponsored ads.

Usually the other reason for the parking companies dumping you is when you park too many domains that have a rotten history and do not convert satisfactorily.

Thanks Kate for info. The only question is what I can do now. Sedo can't do anything.
