Search for trademark

Im sorry i know links must be posted somewhere but when i use NPs serach function it just directs to a blank page. Ive been asked to become a partner in a venture and need to check to see if the name we have choose will infringe on any trademarks before pursuing the domain name, how do i do this? Do I need to check for both US and international trademarks?
