Hello NamePros community! We are creating a single thread where we can share announcements in, talk about product updates, people can ask questions and host a great discussion on all things domains!
That's what support via chat claims. The simple process to access the "v2" cart.
1.) Go to Sav.com and search for a domain.
2.) Add it to the cart. No so fast....that is v1 by default.
3.) Now you have to click on the tiny "Try it Today" link, that says absolutely nothing about v2.
4.) Now you are in the v2 cart.
It's so simple and intuitive!

I am SHOCKED to read that people are still able to bid on Sav.
Their V2 site basically killed the auctions and the entire site for me.
Last time I checked Namebio website, the most recent transactions on Sav.com took place in March.
Renewing a domain name at Sav.com is a STRANGE thing to do.I’ve been trying to renew a domain for 4 days now…it is impossible.
Chat support told me 4 times to use v2
( which isn’t working) and then disappeared with no response.
They deserve to close
I received an email from Sav.com saying someone has place an XXX bid, since it is on my watchlist.I am SHOCKED to read that people are still able to bid on Sav.

If it's an expired auction, it could be that the name was NOT registered at Sav in the first place.I received an email from Sav.com saying someone has place an XXX bid, since it is on my watchlist.
When I look at the actual auction, I don't see that bid. It shows a much lower bid.
It's a real clusterf***.

Brad,Silly me, I somehow used Sav.com to register the domain as requested.
It is in my "v2" account, but support told me the following -
Hello, we have reviewed your payment on V1 Braintree. Please make your payment using V2 with Stripe or your account credit. That is why you are receiving the same message. Kindly try to register on V2, not V1, using Stripe or your account credit. If you need any assistance, please let us know – we are here to help!
It's really awesome to have redundancy, where both versions suck.
I wonder how many domains I am going to have to register in order to bid.
How does anyone actually bid on this venue?
Brad
With the amount of issues (which is the ONLY consistent thing about Sav), I'm amazed they're still operating. I haven't had a domain there for a couple of years and their DUM has been on the slide for a while. Why haven't they gone under yet?...I ve managed to bid sometimes, but it s more often that the bids are not being placed because of some unexplained error.
Where you have to contact support etc.
Also, half of the times that I ve won, they fail to charge my default payment method, and my account is being locked.
So, you have to contact support etc.
But there are times where you manage to win and to pay! Most of these times they don't deliver the domain to you, even days after.
So, you have to contact support etc.
And in the end don't forget to crosscheck your cc charges, your invoices and the domains in account.
They may charge you twice for a won name.
But you know the drill by now, contact support etc.
Lastly, don't forget to check your domains in account in daily basis.
The auctions you have won may restart anytime, and when someone else win it, the domain will be taken from your account...
