They still have excellent pricing on 1st year gTLDs (although their gTLD renewal pricing is off - so it's likely a one and done)

I'm there for their fast simple ui only.. since support and prices now just avg.

o wow they just closed ticket aftr 2 months and removed the 4 old names.

except 2 more now there. 70 day expired

a new ticket I guess

if they cant fix it then fix delete button so we can remove names ourselves

I m pointing to Afternic.
I didn't change dns.

There is some problem with contacts verification.

All domains I bought since Feb 1, and some thousands I have from before, are not being verified.
They are in "on hold" status, and the landing pages are not loading.

And of course I m paying 25% for Afternic fees!
This has cost me thousands $$$ already...

I am still facing the loading issue with login modal. This is so basic stuff. Beta stuff looked good last I checked but I am hardly login once a month or so. Just have around 20 or so domains.

Change is essential but I am so fed up of these websites that have to keep changing their interface all the time. I am amazed at Dynadot on how it has nailed things to perfection and hardly changes. Last overhaul was mostly cosmetic because the function was already flawless. I guess you need weird changes when you need to implement funny things.

Domain transfer-outs from SAV aren't working. I have sold a domain on Afternic. The transfer process has started, but when I try to "approve" the transfer it doesn't work.

SAV.com staff tell me that this is an open issue with your dev team. And that it might take 10 days for the domain transfer to go through without approval.

Is there a work-around for this? I don't want to lose the sale.

I get those verify emails now and then.. I think icann needs this once per year.. but if all info ok no changes to hen i dont touch anything and no issues result

I think it's how it works everywhere.. minus a weirdo or two that I remember asked u to do something to confirm if all ok

I'm not sure if all's fine with them. The latest reviews on Trust pilot are terrible.

I'm not leaving them altogether, but their lack of response, slow to nonexistent CS, and awful new UI is making me start to shift away. It's a shame - they have excellent pricing, but these issues are untenable and I'm going to reduce my footprint with them.

Hopefully enough of these complaints get them to staff up CS and remedy their website issues and UI. If they can improve in all areas, I'll stop shifting names away.

At present transfer outs aren't happening for anyone I know on Sav. Are you able to transfer out ?

I was able to transfer names without any problem. Took under 15 minutes.

For your issue - you may want to report to ICANN if you are not getting satisfaction with Sav.

Their CS leaves a lot to be desired. Not sure what happened to Nic, he used to be responsive here. btw, their X acct is quite active. If you're on X, perhaps try to contact them that way

As for their tech, again it's not global. I was able to transfer out 20 names successfully over the past hour.
Was going to continue, but Sav is now down

No my account isn't "lucky". I put in 5 transfers (20 names in total, 4 transfers per). 4 different orders, 16 names in total transferred properly. When Sav's system went down for maintenance, my final transfer got "stuck". Those names are not showing "pending transfer" and are still sitting at Sav. The remainder showed "pending transfer", I approved, and they were transferred immediately. Just to test if things were working post maintenance, I transferred one add'l name. And it showed "approve" and I clicked it, and it transferred immediately.

I wonder if those who are having issues, put in requests prior to "scheduled maintenance" and, similar to one of my orders, got "stuck". Might be hard to remember, but by any chance did this happen to you?

Mine is an Afternic Fast Transfer sale.

First, Afternic said that they received an incorrect auth code from sav. Next, they got another auth code which got accepted.

But its "pending transfer" for over five days now. I've tried approving, but no - it doesn't work.
