Quick update: All pending transfers have been completed successfully on my account.

Good to hear. I still have 4 stuck in pending status. Meanwhile, I've decided to move many more names away from Sav after this debacle. Going to shrink my footprint in half.

Guys, check your names. I'm having a problem where my NS are properly pointing to landers, but the landers are not resolving. I transferred a name out to test (and didn't change NS) and now it works fine. Anyone else seeing this? I may have to do a global transfer 100% away from Sav with this issue >:(

EDIT - Sav claims my whole portfolio is on "client hold" as I need to verify my WHOIS info. As such no names will resolve. They say an email was previously sent and since I didn't verify, my whole portfolio went on hold. These names are between 11 mos and 1 mo old. She says this happens annually by ICANN mandate. I know we have to verify initially, but never realized all names go on hold until you click a link annually. Is this correct? I really don't recall doing this annually with GoDaddy

does that mean your names will resolve 247 everyday

Yes, I m having exact the same problem 1,5 months now.
They don't have any estimation about resolving it...

What you can do is to make a second account in SAV, and push the names there.
They will automatically take the new WHOIS, and resolve in about 5'

omg. What sort of clown show are they running over there?
I just transferred out another 50 names. Will continue to transfer out until I'm down to zero.

The best they could offer is to "open me a support ticket". Which means, for however long this has been going on - and for however long it takes to fix, my registered Sav names do not resolve.

What makes you wait rather than transfer out to an alternate functional registrar?

The cost of transferring out my whole portfolio is too much.
But I do transfer out everything I m renewing, plus the "good ones"

(I posted this in the domain expiry and drop catching section as well, then I saw this SAV official thread, so sorry if this doubles up.)

I had an account I set up at SAV a while ago, was not used for a while, and just logged in yesterday to place a bid on an expiring auction. It was successful. There was already a valid credit card on file, no problems there, and it was only a small two digit bid.

This morning when I went to log in, two factor authentication was suddenly turned on. No, I did not turn it on myself, this was somehow done manually or automatically. So okay... I get the email and the 6 digit code.

Then after entering the 6 digits it came up with a message something along the lines of "this user/account has an active login block" or something to that effect.

What on earth happened in the 7 hours or so since I last logged in?

I would like to get the account restored ASAP.

Their CS hasn't responded here in a long time - you should chat with them via the online chat feature of their website

Sav's new UI and dashboard are awful. I've never seen such a slow website, whoever rebuilt it and thought it was ready for rollout should be fired

lol
good to know
this is precisely what I feared
did not try yet
I'm assuming soon it will be forced on us

prices were once top2 on sav.. now just top10... so thata gone... but old ui is also why I'm there.. why.. cause It is fastest around. why fast cause it's simple... meaning what I do in 20 seconds on dyna namesilo gd etc takes 5seconds on sav.. adds up. time is money.

that's what I always mean by sav great ui

now ui almost gone too

in short.. no more reason to be on sav

great job sav

I'll add u to encolypedia on how to kill a good biz

Yes this is another bug.
You can avoid that by logging in through the legacy login.

Where is the legacy login? As mentioned I haven't been there for a long time, no idea what/when they made changes. I did notice however that certain pages of information, eg: domain expiry timeline, have vanished from general public view and may (???) be within their help/support section which requires login.

I couldn't even see how to access their online chat as mentioned by Namegroove. Frustrating...

Their whole website is messed up since they launched their new UI. They push you to it automatically, but it doesn't work, load properly, etc. Many users, including myself, are having all sorts of troubles with all sorts of things.

The chat button is on the lower right hand side of their website. Turn off your adblocker if you don't see it

Logged in and got a scare after seeing this when entering 2 factor authentication code:
"User has active login ban."

Chatted with support and they said they're having issues with 2 factor authentication and working on a fix:

Legacy login that works:
https://www.sav.com/users/login

On the new login page: Resend the 2 Factor Authentication Code again if you get an error on the fist try and login works 2nd time.

I have same issues as you guys, I think they should disable the new UI and let us use the old version, by this time to work on fixing the new UI and all it's bugs, then go live with it.
