Hello NamePros community! We are creating a single thread where we can share announcements in, talk about product updates, people can ask questions and host a great discussion on all things domains!

Chris, Vito, Meggy, Andi, Scott, Rudy and Ryan.
They live chat is very good, they are all polite well educated on the subject.

The problem is that support and dev team, are 2 completely separated departments.
It s like they are not working together, just forwarding tickets.

e.g. Support doesn't have a clue about any price changes.
It s not their fault that no one has inform them.
And I m not talking about future changes, but for these that have already changed.


Dev team is clearly understaffed.
Also, they are constantly focusing in wrong tasks.

What s the point trying to build a new cart and a "New Domain Manager", while pushing domains and changing NS don't work...
You should first fix what s broken and then make something new...

it so happens I just switched 200 of 400 names from sedo back to bodis moments ago I never had dns switch issues. and none today.


the only trick which idoubt most know cause took my a while too is u cant just tag all pages ... tag one page. set to 500 or whatever. snd then untag all expired names


if u dont it always fail
if u dont geterror email it means it mean it worked

@Traderas - Ticket number 381941 - We should be onto this one in the next 1-2 weeks. My apologies, we're backed up right now on tickets that have to be escalated to a developer.

New Cart Issue- What issues are you seeing? We're not aware of anything at the moment but will take a look if you can share the details.

@NameGroove - We do not at this time.

@alcy - I just checked a few and it looks like the statuses did update.

I don't care about Ticket 381941 any more.
As I wrote 20 days ago, the domains with the wrong backorder prices had already dropped (Ticket is 1+ month old)


I would prefer you to speed up tickets #388244 #390119 #389880.
I m trying to push some domains I have already sold to another investor, and I can't.
This is hurting my business.

I m impressed you are not aware, because they are.


Ok, I get it, holiday season is difficult.
But could you please explain to me, why do I have unresolved tickets for 1+ month?
Do you believe that it s a good timing to launch your "New Domain Manager", while you have no time to solve simple tickets?

Hey @Traderas

I'll have the priority of these 3 Change of Account tickets moved up and will take a look at the cart ticket and get back to you directly. I completely understand your view on our new Domain Manager but one of our big goals with it was to resolve known issues which should reduce the need to submit most support tickets in the first place! It's not complete yet but getting there. We're confident it will give our domain investors an improved experience on Sav.

Talking about the new Domain Manager, every time I tried to sort domains and the page was loading until it was unresponsive. Good thing you still have the old one.


I strongly suggest you start taking into consideration domainers' feedback.


Personally I ve made dozens of suggestion over time, but no one is hearing.

Some random examples are:

- Notify your clients for price changes of your products before they happen.

- Add the option to use account funds for new purchases.

- Mention the related issue to the ticket's title and content, because now you can tell what is the ticket for.

- Make your auction page fit more than 25 names.

- Add filters like "Favorites" and "Number of chars".

- Add a page with the active auctions we participate.


All my suggestion are not just my "personal" requests, they would greatly increase your profits as well.

If I knew you would increase prices, I would buy/renew more names before you do.
If I could see the auctions I ve been outbid, I would bid more!

Another fix that is needed is to KEEP whatever filter I set on the dashboard. So, for example, I filtered by Auto Renew disabled. I see a list of 7 names. I click in one - to enable it. When I go back to the dashboard the remaining 6 are gone and ALL my names show again. So I have to refilter over and over and over. Same goes for when I set views to 500 domains (from 50). When you look within a name and go back, it resets to 50. Cumbersome

Also - I am unable to search by a keyword, so of my hundreds of domains the only way to find a name is to scroll manually (although perhaps this feature exists and I just can't find it). It either needs to be added or made more prominent

Have you been informed about the issues of the new card?

After 3 months and more than 10 responses in my ticket #369471, today the told me the new cart was fixed!

I tried to test it, and I m getting a black page…

If you just want your customers to pre-release test your upcoming updates, just be honest about it. We won’t charge you!

Possible scam

I received some emails from [email protected], saying I have to verify my contact.
I communicated support and they don't believe these emails are legit.

I m waiting for their devs to decide.
There is a chance the scammer is domain owner's contact form.

Title of the email: "Verify Your Contact"
Content: "
Verify Your Contact here."

"here" is clickable link.

In any case, I suggest not to click any link from [email protected], until further notice...

10,000 domains disabled for 1 week and counting…

There were multiple bugs with contacts verification.
I have verified my contacts now, but they are unable to update the status of my domains.
I currently have 10,000 domains in clienthold status that are not resolving.

I can’t calculate how many sales I ve lost, and I m also selling to Afternic with 25% fee.
This has already cost me thousands $$…

normally we only need changebor check whois if something incorrect.. else we dont touch

Apparently, devs had changed the template of the verification emails, without informing support about that, so support couldn't recognize these emails...

4 hours later, (and before any updates from devs) I received multiple emails that many of my domains are deactivated because I didn't verified them,14 days earlier.
But I had received no verification emails 14 days before...

So they gave me a 4 hour window(instead of 14 days) to verify contacts(that I never changed), and they told me not to click on these verification links!

Next day they told me that I should click all dozens of links I have received.
I did that, and that resulted more of my domains to be disabled.

In the meantime, all my domains appear in "my domains" page, as verified!
So, I m not able to verify them manually.

Now they say that all my domains have been verified, but for some reason they can't lift clienhold...

After many hours talking to support and dozens of links clicked, I m still waiting, I don't know what for...

Yes, plus +10% extra fees in Afternic sales.

I have calculated around 10% of my sales are happening through the landing page.

we all get whois verify emails.. annually or what not .. but u know if all good on em then default is .. do nothing

for scam.. always make sure email is.from sav.com ... scammers cant use that.

A scammer can use domain's owner contact form, to send you emails.
You will receive these emails from [email protected].

You do understand how problematic this is...

hmmm.. true.. but I meant for all gmail emails... all u got to do is click header info. scammers can never put sav.com in there

always check heador not email content..

also isnt contact form for sale inquiries ? how does this relate to whois check email? not sure

They only have [email protected], and they are using it for everything.
Winning auctions, sales etc

Contact form is for everything.
I m getting a lot of spams daily for seo, web applications etc

And yes, for some reason the email you are getting when someone fills contact form is from [email protected]

I got only 30 but still

everyone else upped it too tho.. many have higher

still at least email about it..
