Hello All! A few things:

Live Chat - We hear you and are starting to look at the best way to add this to Sav!

@iTesla - When an account has 2FA enabled, we re-verify that code on a regular basis. This helps prevent someone else from using the same computer your account is logged into to from taking unauthorized actions.

Payment Methods - One of our most common types requests are around payment methods. This including being able to pre-fund accounts, using Marketplace sales proceeds to buy domains and being able to pay with other methods like ACH and Alipay. What would everyone on NP like to see added to Sav to expand our Payment Methods/Pre-funding options?
There is issue with 2FA every day, they work later, why this happen?
Simple 2FA codes for add to folder and other things exhaust the 2FA quota.

@karamakate - We did review the bidders in the ticket and auctions in this thread but do not see evidence of shill bidding. This behavior can be seen when a private seller lists a Customer auction and benefits from a higher sale price. However, the bulk of the auctions we are seeing are not customer auctions and the bidders look to be legitimate anyways.

@silentg - See my note above. We will also be adding in the domain name in all CAPS this week or next. When an auction is restarted, it is currently a public auction. We do not have any private auctions for anything at this time.

My apologies on the confusion for this reply from our Support Team:
The highest bidder not paying isn't always because they refuse to. It's often because the payment is rejected by our fraud checkers. When a buyer doesn't pay in time, we ban them from participating in auctions for 30 days.

Here is how it actually works: We expect all users to have a working payment method on Sav when bidding, or to be able to provide a chargeable payment method within 48 hours of the auction ending. If a user is not able to pay for an action bid more than once, they will be banned from participating in ALL future auctions. Once 30 days has passed, they can request that we review their account and looking at lifting the ban buts its very very rare.

@iTesa We are not aware of any 2FA issues. Feel free to DM me is you are seeing anything specific.

I recently pushed a lot of domains to another SAV user, now one of the domains I pushed has sold and there is a pending payout in my account. I want to make sure the buyer gets their domain and the new owner gets credit.

@End User King - Can you DM me the domain name and the email address on your Sav account?

@Nick R when I am bidding on premium looking domains at sav-auctions... How do I know the domain has a premium renewal or not ? It is important to know for me as it would help me decide whether I should bid on that domain or not.

If it is a premium name with regular reg-fee that I may pay good price because then I can afford to keep it for several years but if the domain has a steep premium renewal fee then I might not bid at all. I do not see any listing with a premium-renewal fee.

I check this by starting a transfer to Epik for instance. If a name has a premium renewal fee, you will see it at checkout. I usually check .co and .xyz this way.

@Bailian - Please login to your Sav account and submit a ticket at https://help.sav.com/kb/en . We can take a look and see what is going on.

@Primary Names - We actually just made that change yesterday! All new auctions starting today on will show the renewal price, when the expiration date will be upon auction completion and will show the domain in all caps if you hover over the domain. This is all on the auctions's detail page.

Using Marketplace sales proceeds to buy, renew, register domains.

@Nick R Your system is not sending notifications via email. If people donโ€™t know about new bids on names they have been trying to buy, they will start losing auctions. The problem is from the past few hours.

@Anton Naydenov - I just checked and see an alert to our Ops team about that as well from about 30 mins ago. We are looking into it now. Thanks for the heads up!

@Primary Names By the way what do you have against registry premium names? Yes, renewal fees are higher, but also the quality of such names is usually much higher, and chances to sell at good retail prices are also much higher. I personally prefer to renew one high-value name rather than keep renewing 100 shitty names that will never sell for the same money. Instead of keeping track on a large low-quality portfolio you can keep track on fewer, but much better names. Ofc itโ€™s matter of calculations and budget. But not bidding on names only because their renewal fees are higher is to say at least stupid, and bad planning.

Yesterday I received an offer on Twitter to trade in my premium tips.xyz for a long list of other lower quality .xyz names. I explained the same to the guy who made the offer. Why should I renew his shitty long list next year, instead of just renew my name? Letโ€™s say he had 100 names in his list - their renewal fees will be $8.50 each, which means $850 to keep them alive for another year. Even if 1 or 2 of them happen to sell I will get what - $2000? $2500$ Why should I invest $850 for such low ROI? When I can renew tips.xyz and try to sell for 5 figures? Also premium names come with some liquidation value, which means you can always sell them at reseller prices if you need some urgent cash. At the same time good luck liquidating blablablablabla.xyz - if it has zero liquidation value. So I prefer to have 1 name that everybody wants, rather than 100 names that nobody wants. Hopefully you understand what I mean.

Still not receiving SAV emails. Is there an estimated time on when this will get fixed? I cannot verify my account, or take off the Two-Factor Authentication.

You need to fix the issue urgently, as it has huge impact on sales. Or just pause all aucions. Das.xyz sold for only $536 USD, so I can imagine how the seller is not very happy at the moment. They probably paid more for the name than they got in the auction. And problem is not that nobody wanted the name. I am sure there were people who couldnโ€™t even log in to place bids, and the ones who managed to log in missed it, because they didnโ€™t get notified about new bids. The problem with e-mails is very very serious, @Nick R. Just saying.

Am I the only one who thinks that the site has been under an intense attack for the past few weeks, and especially past few days? I donโ€™t know whether the attack is led by revengeful buyers/sellers, hackers, robots, Sav competitors, but whatโ€™s happening is definitely not normal. @Nick R I really think you should pause or stop all auctions.

@Nick R

What's up with the Afternic fast transfer requests I get a couple of times a week? The domain isn't even listed on Afternic, not by me, not by anyone else.

It's gotten annoying to the point where all email from sav is now redirected to spam.

Thanks for your post that is definitely not cool I was about to switch from Dan because of the 9% but I just sold a domain and had the money in my account within like 3 day through PayPal from when I pushed and time is money.

@quakes We would recommend reaching out to a local tax professional who can give you advice for your specific situation.
I got 1989$ as highest bid for my domain trek.xyz yesterday.
But buyer did not pay yet.
also trek.xyz is in my dashboard.
no fund added/.

strange.

I know buyer has two days to pay & than the auction starts again.

Will it be? But why i see the domain in my dashboard than? please confirm me.

Thansk
