@Nick R

Is It possible / allowed to remove a domain from auction?

No bids so far and the domain is registered at SAV

Reading all this doesn’t exactly raise any confidence in Sav.com.

Set up my first Sav.com auction (for name registered and held elsewhere) recently but it doesn’t show up anywhere in my account/dashboard, like it would on GD or any other marketplace. I have to search in the marketplace to make sure it’s actually working.

Then I get an email that I need to transfer the domain. I had received no email, no indication that there was even an offer, let alone a sale until this one. So I emailed back asking why I need to transfer. Only then in the reply email did they say it was a sale and the winning bid, and I would only get the money after the domain was transferred into the winner’s hands. I refused to transfer until I saw proof. The response was silence.

Until the following features are added, I’m not touching sav.com again:
  1. Show me in my dashboard and email me that my domain is in auction. Let me click from there to see the auction detail.
  2. Email me when when the first offer comes in. Include a link to the auction.
  3. Email me when the auction is over. If there’s no sale, at least I know it’s done. If there’s a sale, let me know the price and give instructions etc. Include a link to the dashboard view of my auctions.
  4. Let me see in my dashboard all of my completed and live auctions with corresponding data.
I was told by a respected domainer that this is legit and a new registrar can’t get everything right from the start, but you’re dealing with people’s property and money here. It’s not like you’re eBay when it started and there were no competitors around. You’re going up against behemoths like GD, Sedo, etc and you can’t expect people not to notice.

I mean I know Sav.com is trying to be the low-price option but man, you’re proving the old adage that you get what you pay for. And that’s not a good thing.

Hi there,
With a momentary mistake, I put 14 domains for sale without a minimum price.
I realized the mistake within minutes and wrote to Sav.
There were no offers yet. I don't want to sell my domains on sav.com without a reserve price.

All 14 are valuable domains what can I do any thoughts, please?

point is..if sav shuts down..and some signs point there...he..and many of us are gonna waste hours on moving stuff elsewhere.. me at 200 names...in gonna waste time too..
but that 11k dude..man..he not gonna be in the happy camper.
