I am blocked on payment at Sav since almost 24 hours, cannot renew and do anything. Card and Paypal both don't work.

Been with Sav for more than 1 year and have 1k+ domains with them.

My only mistake: Bought 200 domains in a day. (While my intention was to buy about 2-3K in total....?!) I see now that this is mission impossible.

Still awaiting for support to do something about it.

Meanwhile, just looking at the domains. The payment side has been a bad issue; and I had multiple problems with it. Hopefully they can unlock it soon.

@synecdoche

Bulk changes – We are actively working on these as we speak!! They should be going live in the coming weeks after the new year.

Default DNS – We do offer the ability to set the default nameservers, but not specific DNS entries. Setting up something like a wildcard DNS server may be a workable solution but it’s not something we natively support.

I think so. While it is still unclear to me where the blocking occurred (either at Sav or at our bank/card issuer), it works now.

There was a solution for this if PayPal would allow us to fill the account with balance, but currently this is not possible in our country, for whatever that reason is.

I think it is worth adding another payment option such as Skrill for example. Haven't used them much but anyway there should be another alternative to card and Paypal. If our card doesn't work, in this situation neither does Paypal cause it charges our card further.

Edit: Oh and in-store credit - that would be very useful.

Great to hear that it is working now! What country are you in that PayPal blocks pre-funding the account? (Feel free to DM me as well). We typically recommend that people just pre-fund their PayPal account and link that at Sav to use in-store credit but it sounds like that may be restricted in some countries.

fancy.,.,.vr..,,com

remove symbols

plz fix asap

also can u say or link to changes of yer update tomorrow? does it include ability to sort by extension without everyone wasting 10 mins to download and view sheets? 10 mins per client...times 73774747 clients...is a lot of mins... whereas it's a one time 1 hour coding effort for u... do u see what I'm getting at? and why its sign of disrespect for yer clients to force them to download sheets? not to mention yer the only one on planet left who does this

Regarding one-off registrations, please email the details to [email protected] and we would be happy to take a look into it.

Sorting - We are actively working on that and so much more as we speak! We began the process for this site upgrade last weekend and will be rolling out the UI changes like bulk tools and sorting in Jan!

I'm very pleased with Sav.com, .coms and .co-s are constantly cheap, the UI is great, domain registration is very fast and there are no annoying upsells. I don't know any other place where you can register a domain in less than 10 seconds. Godaddy's main screen does not even load in 10 seconds LOL :D

I hope the bulk functionalities go live soon, and then Sav will be my number one registrar :)

what u call fast checkout which it is is probably just an unintentional side effect of the worst most lacking in features ui among all registrars...

let's hope they do something real soon..

hard to argue with some prices. but we were not born today so I think we know they cant keep this up too long...and like all registrars it's a way to grab clients..that being said I fear that moving all or most names there will merely result moving them out down the road and all the work therein.

Yeah, the bulk functions are missing, but those are being developed. I hope the new features won't hurt the speed much after the go-live. Even the good registrars like Dynadot, Epik or Namesilo are slow when compared to Sav. I don't want to loose this new experience of speed :)

The upgrades we made last week were to give us extra capacity to support the upcoming bulk tools while not having to sacrifice site speed.

@Nick R

Hey there!

On Jan 1st - I purchased a Sav domain through Namecheap since I already have many domains there.
It has been a few days and the domain I purchased still shows as available/for sale.

I've purchased from third parties via NC without issue more times than I can count. 99.9% of the time - The third party domain goes from a sales page to a default parking page or something similar within hours. After that the transfer time can vary which is fine.

This is the .1% where it hasn't updated at all. Haha! :)

Main Questions:
Is this common when purchasing Sav domains through a third party?
How long does it take after a domain is purchased before the for sale page is removed?
Will this purchase be subject to the 120 day transfer hold that I've seen mentioned in other threads?

Secondary Question:
What happens if someone were to visit the domain and click 'Buy Now' even though I've already made a purchase?

I'm not too worried about it so I haven't contacted Sav or NC support yet, but figured I would ask since I came across this thread. My questions may be helpful to others in the future.

Thanks for your time!

Hi,
Considering SAV to register few .com
With the thread discussion, I understand 120 days lock for customer auctions as considered premium domains. If I understand correctly, the lock could be lifted with extra verification.
Expired and Dropped auctions transfers? Like other registrars, you mentioned 30 days lock (correct me if wrong).

Can I still push any domain (Customer/Expired/Dropped) within SAV to other account without any lock period?
Thanks in advance.

Hello @DiFDev - That would depend on the seller and how often they they update their current inventory on each website. When a domain on Sav is being fulfilled by a 3rd party or private seller, the domain will say Premium Domain or Premium Partner Domain. Without knowing the domain I can only speak in general terms but if a sold domain is sold again at a different marketplace, that second sale would be cancelled.

@Akhilesh.Kumar We only place a 60 day transfer lock on domains bought from our marketplace and that can be lifted by reaching out to our support team. Right now, if you push a domain to another Sav user a change of registrant happens which triggers a new 60-day lock but that lock is no longer going to be the case starting later next week. So, starting later next week, the answer is "yes".

Thanks for taking the time to answer my concern about a second sale. @Nick R

Will a premium domain purchased through NC be subject to the SAV 120 day transfer hold that I've been reading about? That has more to do with Sav than the seller.

NC actually updated me via email shortly after my initial post stating they're just waiting for transfer information. That is what prompted my question above. Prepping myself for future purchases of Sav domains through NC.

I could PM the domain if you'd like, but I don't want to clog up your inbox and these are really just general questions. No serious support needed.

Thanks again.

Hi,
I've completed registration and updated card as payment method. Also provided address for whois records.
Can't bid as it shows "A default WHOIS contact is required to place a bid. Please update on the My Account page."
Plz suggest.

Hi there,

I created an account at Sav.com on January 2nd. With a momentary mistake, I put four domains for sale without a minimum price.

All 4 are valuable domains, and I even rejected the Euros 2000 offer for one in recent weeks.

I realized my mistake within minutes and wrote to Sav. There were no offers yet. I said that I don't want to sell my domains on sav.com without a reserve price.

After two days, Hassan from sav.com replied that it was too late and said can not remove. I wrote over and over but got rude and bullying feedback.

Yes, I made a mistake, but I tried to solve it in minutes as soon as I realized it.

sav.com did not want a solution in any way, like an opportunist waiting for people to make mistakes. Like a thief waiting to extort with a gun.

What do you think should I do against their rude and bully attitude.

Thank you.

Best.

I had issues with Hassan too in email

then someone else took over and ok.

I guess we should remember sav is not one person ..but I admit their support like their ui is quite weak.

let's be honest everyone who goes there it's for the few small savings on few tlds ... but I doubt they will hold the prices long ..what then... a mass exodus I guess

as for yer issue... well when I make error on gd auctions and list my 1k name for 10$. I go to listings and click delete listing.. are u saying sav doesnt offr something similar and once u list yer stuck for life... well maybe we shouldn't be surprised since their ui lacks 99% BASIC features...

if this is true and yer stuck in this way then maybe extreme solution is to temporarily push the names to trusted np member. I'd say transfer out but since u just opened accnt and brought them in I guess u cant transfer out..so if u do push logic says it will cancel auctions..

juat an idea off top of head. maybe there are others.

o yea..just brainstormed this..and I guess as even more extreme case where push wont solve it.. u email trusted np member ask them to buy the name... pay some fees j guess... but hey that still beats losing 100k name for 10k... if no one who should help u (sav) does not want to help ya

like they say extreme situations.. extreme solutions
