I haven't used them yet but I noticed they have .com for $5.95 and are icann accredited.

I noticed another member has been registering names with them.

Anyone have feedback about them?

@twiki Can you share your experience so far?

They acquired NameKing. No other explanation for SAV to use NameKing Registration Agreement at checkout

links in SAV Terms of Service cite NameKing and 404

No clue how merger managed to stay wraps this age, I bet; Sav bought NameKing for the ICANN accreditation

FWIW, I have noticed Sav with some big nameserver changes...

Current nameserver total according to dailychanges = 248,150

upload_2019-12-19_14-47-43.png

....

I registered my first domains with them on November 2nd (receipt #3XX); as of December 16th (receipt #17XX).

I recently sold a domain registered with them under 60 day transfer lock via Dan. Buyer was able to create account and recieve domain push. Sale completed with no hiccups.

Additionally, they provide instant AUTH codes via their UI.

Negative, is I don't think they don't offer grace delete refunds. I had backordered a typo, and received a exception to policy grace delete refund.

Other than that, Sav has been great. Support has been responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable thus far.

I registered my first domains with them on November 2nd (receipt #385) and as of December 16th (receipt #1707). Back then, they didn't have a password reset button. So when I forgot my password, it was a bit of a Oh no moment, until their support promptly responded with reset options.

PayPal can send you a debit card.

Then use your PayPal debit card to purchase, and funds will come from your PayPal account.

...or...

(backup plan) PayPal a domainer friend. And they can use their PayPal debit card, and push the domains to your account

Paypal isnt perfect, but you trust pay non-Paypal?

Nobody’s asking for SAV owner to post, but some sort of representation, would be appreciated. Even “about me” as their FAQ doesn't answer any of my questions.

We gotta share these things!

Technically I did, lol...

I noticed @twiki registering in bulk, and figured unless he/she was stuck on name.com API, he/she was wasting loads of money on ($6.99) hand regs, when marginally speaking, he/she could do better.

Thus, I DM'd @twiki, and in so many words, sent him/her on a hunt to check my WHOIS to see where I'm registering domains, and he/she will find a cheaper way.

Then he/she shares a big list of new regs, and you do the experienced domainer thing (y), and WHOIS the bulk regs, to see what he/she knows that we don't, and here we are, this thread.

Looks alright but it's way too early to endorse them. I took a risk on this one. Still get my most important names at bigger registrars.

But have no reasons so far to distrust them, it's just quite basic in features and buggy here and there. Time will tell.

@Grilled is right. Today I had many hand regs, and the price was the deciding factor.
