Well today I recieved some bad news from one of my domain name parking services (RevenueDirect.com). It seems that I had been kick off the site due to " unacceptable traffic to my domain(s)". ??? Upon hearing this it got me extremely mad because I take pride in what I do and do not want to jeopardize my name or sites by click fraud or anything like that . So how could this have possibly happened? After a few emails to Revenue Direct i recieved a very vauge explanation and no details what so ever as to why this happened. I had over 50 domain names parked at the site and they will not even tell me what domain name(s) caused my termination. Also they told me that my revenue , over $300, was going to be given back to the advertisers. How convinient seeing that my payment was schedueled for tomorrow. I have many other domains parked at 2 other parking services and have never had any kind problem. Well Im done venting for the moment but this seriously confuses and iritates me at the same time. If anyone has had this happen to them please contribute to this thread or if you just want to add your 2 cense feel free. Thanks for listening.

That's the thing. What I am concern with is if we park hundreds of domains in one account and one of them have clickfraud we're death even though it's not our fault.

Internet Fraud is defined as the crime of obtaining money by deceiving people.

A perpetrator of computer of Internet fraud may be found guilty of a felony and face a fine of up to $250,000 and/or up to 20 years in jail. Often, those charged with computer and/or Internet fraud are also charged with wire fraud, mail fraud, conspiracy, or other white collar crimes. I do not know revenue directs history but parking companies can be charged with internet/wire fraud like any one else

Regardless of any parking companies T.O.S they have an obligation to explain to the payee the specific reason for holding a due payment. Vague responces may not be tolerated and do not show good faith.

$300 is very little but you could at least contact your local Attorney Generals office and explain to them what happened and show them the responce.

If you have clicked your own ads then you should not be mad but if you are truly unaware of any type of fraudulant clicking then you do have rights.

Well, its been a while since i have posted here. I just want to give an update. I never did hear anything back from these guys (which i think was totally unprofessional at least they could have heard my side) but i do think i found the reason for my termination. I purchase many domains from auctions and most of them are neglected and forgotten about names. But there was this 1 site i bought that still had an active website and the owners just forgot to renew the name. So when i parked it at revenue direct it actually still had money going to Google adwords for traffic. Needles to say instead of just taking the money from the one site they terminated me and took ALL my money from all my sites( I had about 30 domains there). Its been a little while and i am still bitter about this.

P.S. Thanks Mrizos I have moved some domains over to Parked and the support from those guys are amazing!

Yup, Donny and the team at parked.com are the best that you're going to find.

How could there be an "active website" for a domain name that has expired for lack of renewal? Or are you saying that the original owners kept an active Adwords campaign running on a domain name that they forgot to renew, and after you acquired it and changed DNS to a parking service, Adwords continued sending traffic to that newly parked domain -- which I presume was in violation of RevenueDirect's TOS? If that is the actual scenario, that's an interesting heads-up on a potential parking minefield for expired domain purchases.

How did you come to learn that there was an active Adwords campaign sending traffic to this domain? And it begs the question -- did you manage to get it stopped?

Well I guess the owners never recieved the emails to renew the site . I was contacted by the owner about 2-3 days after the site cleared to me ( I had already had it parked) and wanted the site back.We Talked for a few days and he offered me a very low figure and he decided to just start a new website. He also informed me that some of the traffic was from PPC Advertising but by that time I had already been terminated from Revenue Direct. At The time I had no idea why and finally i put 2+2 together and this is the only logical reason they would have terminated me. I have it parked elsewhere now and have no problems with it ( it no longer is part of an active campain). Its definetly a wake up call. I would probably be talking to alot of lawyers right now if I had a bigger portfolio and more money at Revenue Direct.

Actually adwords traffic are pretty good. The reason why they don't allow PPC is because some PPC traffics, like Kanoodle can be very bad. I see no reason why they should ban you just because of adword traffic?

I used kanoodle to promote affiliate. Boy, within minutes $5 -$10 is gone at 5 cents click each. No sign up whatsoever.
